AOL for the media parade?? Anyone near Seaburn or Cleadon, or am I sending my dad round, haha! Ahhhhh, my mates at graft today, at the AOL, gimme 5!
100% he's at the AOL, so expect an announcement soon. From one of my best pals who works with the SAFC foundation, so no bullshit. Hardly groundbreaking news like, but they always present players at the AOL.
Me mate, I guess Fletcher signed yesterday, and has been registered, looks like we won't get AJ in before the deadline for tomorrow, but I hope it's announced today either way, as the buzz would be tremendous!
AJ will be a great assett to the club, with him and SF we will be a team that can compete for top 6. Did you know that SF was linked with Real Madrid a few years back, paper talk but he is what we have needed big and strong. His dad was a scouser who supported Liverpool with a passion
Aye, I vaguely recall the Madrid links, I actually thought he was a lot older when we started looking, not an appearance thing, more so that I remember him at Hibs & being very highly rated. I think he'll be smashing for us, I back him to score tomorrow,
On the bench with Saha i think, but not beyond him scoring on his debut from the bench, should take a lot of pressure off Sess's shoulders. Good luck to the lad Kenny will be well made up for him
I'm delighted with him mate, it feels like the right guy to me, really does. Hopefully I'm proved right, but he seems a good pro, he has a great record, and importantly, from MON, he was bang keen on the club. Heard the tale of him losing his dad as a young 'un, again a sign of great strength of character to have made it to the top level.
He is the spit of his dad, who died of a brain tumour back in 1998, heres a picture of a young Kenny Fletcher a striking resemblance i think?
We were in the Army together a great soldier, dad and footballer who could have played at a higher level in another era. Steven has his dads qualities in abundance, lets hope he can start playing his trade soon for Sunderland. Been around this forum for a while, however, didnt post on the Sunderland forum because i was a member of RTG for a long time, that place has gone to the dogs now so cancelled my membership after been a founder member so will hopefully start posting on here a lot more, hopefully its a little more friendly than the RTG, SMB full of arrogant tossers who think anyone who posts is after recognition. Look forward to a succesful season for the lads this year
I read now, but a poor board to what it was when it started too many are too big for their own boots, ive grown out of it very immature stuff pleased to be on board
