I don't know Smithers, if it is reported that he passed his medical then what's the problem. If there is one then why report that he has passed. Roll on next Friday and let's see who we actually end up with.
This is starting to sound ominous.A repeat of the Demba Ba deal where we tried to get him on the cheap and completely lost it,However,if he has got a dodgy ankle then we are right not to take him,remember West Ham tried to foist Dean Ashton on us and not long after he gave up the game completely!! Given that the players that have already left Rangers were at best championship (IMO) I fail to see how he could possibly be an improvement on what we have. Hate to be negative but we have wasted 10's of millions on transfers and millions on wages on these nobody players who either never get a chance or are merely not good enough!
