Jones as RB? All wrong, Suarez? He doesnt actually do anything so he would be a useless option off the bench. Kagawa or Nani? Both man, has to be, the sort of passing Kagawa does works well with Nanis style so have both Nani and Valencia. It would be Kagawa/Rooney and RVP/Rooney. De Gea in goal aswell, he is getting better by the minute in games while its the opposite for Reina Also the midfield looks poor, needs a Carrick or a Scholes You would relegate us
No way would I put Reina in ahead of de Gea now and i would rather Carrick than Lucas. The rest of that side works though.
1. You both have shambolic right backs, Jones is also ****e at right back but probably better than the others. Please don't even mention Rafael. 2. Didn't get point two, you can't miss out RVP, Rooney or Valencia imo so the left wing spot goes to either Nani or Kagawa. 3. Read my response to Ruff 4. **** you De Gea was the tough choice, along with Carrick. Nothing gets past Lucas, rate him highly as a holding midfielder, although if Fletcher were available I'd include him somewhere. After a rethink, Reina because of experience due to this being a one off side, and I'll slide Carrick ahead of Allen because of the same reason.
I'd only want agger and Enrique. Not seen enough of Allen to pass comment.. I'd also have their kit deal thusly providing happy smiling faces for everyone..
No you can, Nani is a fantastic player and to say hes always out of form as some make out he has world class stats. There are few players in the world over the past 2 years who have created and scored as many as Nani. I know, I have defended him enough times. Valencia has to play but Rooney sometimes plays to much so the chance to give him a rest every now and again would be brilliant. Hopefully his famed bad patch wont happen this season. Tbh other than Valencia in those positions behind the striker we have **** loads of options and they can all play in various positions so you can just stick any combo together really. Carricks been a mainstay of one of if not the most successful period in our history. He has to be in midfield. For all the stick he gets he does the job we need. At times hes playing the role of 2 players and it effects his quality. Massively underrated is Mickey C
Agger is a good defender. Evra could use some competition he's not been so hot past couple seasons, probably caused by overplaying him. So Enrique. Gerrard is s spent force, Lucas is overrated after one good season and don't get me started on "Wolrd Class" Suarez, a forward who can't finish for **** and doesn't create anything either. Pretty much what you expect from a mid table club. One or two players who might be useful the rest wouldn't get in our squad even if they were free.
If only stats won matches. They don't though, they tend to cover things up. I rate Nani but appreciate that he is inconsistent. He plays well in bursts and should not in any way be a shoe in. Having said that, when all are on form playing 4 2 3 1 he gets in on the right of that 3 with Rooney on the left and Kagawa through the middle with van Persie the focal point. Hugely harsh on Valencia that though. He would oust Nani or Kagawa with a more conventional line up.
Nani is a game changer and his stats reflect that. Yes he does have periods where he is poor but usually after an injury lay off. He seems to take a while to get back to match fitness after a lay off. I find people dislike him as a person for whatever reason, he does nothing off the pitch to make people dislike him so its almost certainly down to his play acting. Fair enough but hes not the only one and others are even loved. He must just have one of them faces ( MJ was popular though lol ). Hes the player United fans tend to single out after a bad performance even when in most cases hes not the reason behind it. He wasnt the worst player v Everton imo but its been made out like he was. He was at least trying and nothing came off for any player bar Kagawa tbf. I agree though about Valencia, on top for he has to be dropped because Nani on form down the right is unstoppable. Valencia really suffers from a lack of a left foot here.
The OP is stating the obvious. Why else would the scousers themselves declare that their realistic objective this year is not to win the title, not even to be top 4 but to be top 6 or thereabouts? This is unprecedented in recent history. This must mean that their team or squad is the worst they have had for ages. Carragher and Gerrard are really gone, not fit for purpose. Suarez despite his trickery is absolute **** in front of goal. Carroll will never fit in Rodgers system and has been a heavy chain round the scousers neck. The squad players are not only rubbish they are rubbish that do not fit into their managers system. As difficult as it is to imagine I believe that the scousers will be fighting relegation this season Mark my words. I am the first poster to say this and I am betting £100 on this outcome.
It would seem so. Totally different writing style though, looks like he's learned to put a space after his comma's! His immediate moral high ground take on all things is a clue though. Must be an alter boy over there in his homeland. Bummed as a child no doubt. Ah well, another bonehead to take the piss out of. So long as he doesn't stray too far onto here.
Some of the comments here are pure comedy gold, and I thought we were supposed to be the kings of comedy gold!? Some of my favourites so far... - Carrick better than Lucas, - Flappy de gea is better than Reina United's squad is a pile of ****e held together by SAF who is quite frankly a genius, I am happy to admit. United's squad under any other manager would be mid-table
I just love the fact his dad is a United fan. Seems someone has some real daddy issues I expect better than the nonesense above from Red though ^^^^^ Midtable
Comedy requires you to be funny which you're not. You're the kings of delusion, a point well proven in your post. You not only think Liverpool can be compared to United (You can't) but you still think yourselves superior! wow! The only mid table team in here is Liverpool as proven by recent seasons.
