Going to be very tight but I think we might nick it by a goal 2-1. Can't see us keeping a clean sheet but bwp and and jacko to keep the momentum going.

I fear defeat here, irrational reasons I suppose, partly down to the confidence being expressed, I worry that brum & foxes is like hard work done, we can beat anyone now attitude. Add tiredness into the mix, I fear we will somehow underestimate a team with every right to expect a result heading to a newly promoted with their budget( compared to ours )

Obviously hope I'm wrong, if we play like we can do, it could be a clean sheet & 3.

Also,I would keep Pritch in, purely as the end result is actually decent.

I'll be there in the away end as this is gonna be a cracker.

You're greatest concerns would be that we're very hard to score against. If you exclude Reading from last year's League, we had the best defence in the whole Championship. But we're still lacking in the goals department.

Proschwitz needs to adapt quickly and will be the target man in your game. Sone Aluko has been amazing and looks to be a great threat alongside other goal threat Koren who, given the chance, will calmly score from 16+ yards.

My concerns are that Charlton look as though they're a very threatening attacking side and will cause many problems amongst the defence. It's gonna be a 1-0 or 2-1 either way for me, going to be a physical match.

Random gut feeling that we're going to lose.

    0-2.

    Pessimistic, I know.

Would people be happy with a point? Applies to both sets of fans.

5 points from the opening 3 games, I'd be very happy with that super.
If we can hit double figures by the 6th game of the season I'd be over the moon!

i think if we hadnt had played on tuesday a win would not be out of the question. however, as we did play, and it was a tough game, a draw would be a good point. a "meh" in terms of final whistle reaction.

Despite my own doubts about Jacko's fitness and Pritchard's quality, I believe the side should stay the same. We have an extra day's rest over Hull, no travel lethargy, and a fine win behind us. Momentum and continuity will see us through to a 2-1 win.

Should Jacko need replacing, I would plump for Kerkar over Cook: protecting Wiggins and allowing him to romp forward is key to our attacking threat. The same idea applies to Pritchard, with Wilson coming in to bolster the right flank, thus offering support to Solly.

Cook is certainly a good player, but I would prefer him to come in as an attacker rather than a winger or left-midfielder. Having said that, if we were going all out for goals, then Cook and Haynes/Waggy/Green would balance the side on either flank.

I don't think Fuller is fit - but a half fit Ricardo would be a more attractive option than young Smith. Besides, his appearance on the bench may galvanise Kermit and BWP further.

    COYR!

P.S) I can't help feeling gutted that we don't have six points already.

Can't call this one as I still don't know how good we are at this level. I suspect we are really quite good but I'm not going to draw any conclusoins until I've seen five or six teams. My suspicion is that Leicester are really good and that Brum are over-rated. No idea about Hull other than that they have some fine players on paper - always been a fan of Koren and Aluko was a steal - we really should have competed for him. We have made a great start, but we were as lucky to get away with it on Tuesday as we were unlucky to get caught out right at the end last Saturday. Throw in the tiredness point already made by others and who knows what's going to happen. I'll be surprised if there are changes injury notwithstanding but SCP must develop a habit of making substitutions earlier. It was obvious on Tuesday that the midfield was getting over-run in the second half. I would personally like to seen Green in there to give us real width but I can't justify dropping Pritchard at the moment and I think Hollands, Stephens and Jacko are nailed on starters (Stephens has a lot to prove to me). I'm hopeful but a bit worried that it may be a bit "after the Lord mayor's show". If its half as exciting as Tuesday.............

No, I'm sticking with my original prediction of 1-0 and looking for a near-unstoppable momentum to be created propelling us with an absolute certainty into the top flight.

(Voice off) Time for your medication, Mr. Tewks...

Koren - Brilliant player on his day, but his day only comes once in every two or three matches
Cairney - Brilliant passer of the ball, but he doesn't like passing it forwards. Perhaps better suited to some code of Rugby
Olofinjana - We need a tumbleweed smiley. There's more chance of Lord Lucan making an appearance in midfield than Oli
Stewart - Winger who can't cross and can't score. Not exactly dangerous
    Evans - Average. Average. Average.
Faye - Not a bad centre-half at all, but slow as fook
McShane - In fairness, he's better than people give him credit for, though still a liability. Unlikely he'll play

I stayed in Hull for three months on secondment. I remember it with fondness. Very friendly people made me at home. It was summer though so I guess that made a difference.

Surprised about Stewart and Evans. You've obviously seen hell of a lot more than I ever will, but they've always looked decent when I've seen them on tele (live & highlights), and reading some of the forums at the start of the season it appeared they were important players to you guys.

I rate Faye as a centre half- big and imposing. This makes up for his lack of pace.

I also like McShane and was hoping he would join us before electing to sign for you guys. I know he has his moments but I think he's suffered from never being given one position. ''Jack of all trades, master of none'' applies. Didn't realise he was so out of favour with you guys though.

Where are Hull fans thinking they will finish the season? It seems we rate them more than yourselves.
