Looks like we are still in the market to bring in another top player - lets hope the club hasn't wasted to much time on this or passed up on chances at other targets in the hope of sealing this deal!

 

This is just annoying though. We all thought this was done and now just like that it's off. With him we had another option but now we have to hope that Wilshere comes back and hits the ground running. Too much pressure on him.

Well fair play then. There are too many people willing to hate on the people in charge at our club and then they refuse to give credit when it's deserved.

 

We're having a good summer. We've strengthened 2 rivals now, either through sales or stupidity.

 

Ask any french manager (or read their interviews) and not M'Vila or any other midfielder would ever get into the french squad ahead of Diaby if he wasn't injured.

People like you and Kyle are the typical "grass is greener on the other side" people. Doubt you've ever seen a full game by M'Vila...

 

If Diaby stays fit he is a beast and will be pushing for a first team spot. Let's hope this is his season like last season was for RVP.

 

And we've also strengthened our team, if you've even noticed.

 

I don't claim to know anything about any other French midfielder. One thing I do know about it Diaby's injury concerns and its a bit silly to assume he will suddenly stay fit for an entire season and unfair on him to have to shoulder the responsibility because we cannot afford a replacement or are too cheap to buy one.

 

2 signings were to replace van Persie. The only non enforced purchase was Cazorla and the only reason we signed him was because we were able to get him on the cheap (thanks Malaga)

 

I saw a few Rennes games last season. I actualy watch teams with players we're linked to, see how they measure up. So i watch some Rennes, i watched some Toulouse, i watched some Montpellier.

Capoue is probably my 1st choice, but we've barely been linked to him, so M'Vila is the most likely target. Both are superior to Diaby, especially defensively.
