If this goes through sharpish, I would imagine he could be on the bench for city game. Otherwise I would like to see
    -----------------------------Reina
    ------------------Kelly----------------Skrtel
    ----------------------------Lucas
    Johnson-----------Allen--------------Sahin----------Enrique
    -----------Gerrard------------------------Suarez
    ---------------------------Borini

  4. The quotes in those articles say exactly what it says on the LFC website. They have no further information, they are all reporting the same thing.

The £115k per week wages require a bit of a gulp but I trust BR to do the right thing for the club. I hope the £14m option to buy at the end of the loan deal is right, that would be a bargain <ok>

  5. IMO, that is crazy. Surely he could opt not to buy next summer? Unless of course, the buy clause is game related? Ie, it is activated if Sahin plays twenty games.

I have no idea on the clauses etc. All i know is our board/negotiators/manager are morons. Good luck to him, he suits our style more than yours, but he should do a job for you.

****ing get in!! And to Arsenal fans, what a bummer, but TBF all signs have indicated that Wenger was looking for more of a CDM even whilst persuing Sahin which I think he will continue to do, Tiote?

Surely you need a destroyer more than a passer anyway, you have the passers in Cazorla,Wilshire,Arteta,Ramsey

Surely someone like M'Vila or the guy from Anderlecht would fill Songs boots better

£14mil could be a bargain if he performes well. Wages of £115k are a bit steep though. If we were to sign him permanently would he be willing to take a pay cut in order to get first team football or would he wants the same/more in which case I can't see us offering it (unless he helped get us into Champ League).

Knowing us, we won't get anyone. Thats why so many of us were keen to land Sahin, because Wenger's track record of trying to promote from within, and we just don't have anyone good enough to replace Song. At this rate, we'll be buying Adam off you.

Tiote would be good for you but Arsene (not slagging) just hasn't seemed to like anyone since Viera. Someone needs to tell him it just doesn't all come in one player all the time.

I think Angry Alex has had the same probs replacing scholes: just doesn't happen. Take closest to or change everything .

I'd love Tiote, he's what we need, you're spot on with that call man.

The fact that he looks like BA and you imagine him saying "I pity the fool that plays on my park" as he destroys someone is purely a bonus :D

Didn't Tiote just sign a long term new deal (4 years or something?) Plus, he said he wanted to stay at Newcastle, and they wouldn't want to sell him. Great player, imo, especially how he can turn away from three to four players, cut by them, and distribute well (obviously, his main quality is defensive, but his distribution is underrated.)

Last year, Arsenal were saying Frimpong was better than Song. I know he can be reckless and hot-headed, but surely he could do the job until you can get a replacement in January, so you don't panic-buy and pay over the odds for a replacement? Unless I'm missing something or mistaken...

Wages seem a little excessive but hey if he proves to be quality and actually retains/distributes better than players we had on vs hearts last night...will be a bonus.

This means we must be looking to shift out a few of the midfielders such as Adam,Cole & possibly Downing.Reckon they could be sold in the transfer window(Aug/Jan)?

You don't get it. Liverpool agreed to pay a larger proportion of the £115k wages, not all the £115k wages. I've read that too that Liverpool have agreed a £14 million permanent transfer.

  20. Therein lies the problem, he is hot headed and would be suspended for half their games!
