Absolutely 100% wrong.....why?..Because that is against the rules so as he is at liverpool and jinks could not do nothing to stop it then no rule had been broken and jinks would have done something about it.... So everything was above board.....You have to Know your rules before stating rubbish that you obviously dont have a clue about...<ok>

Tapping up is against the rules Dai, hence the FA investigation. What's it like in your little world?

As you know, Dai and me wished Rodgers well initially when he left but since then we've had a divergence of opinion and it's the Allen saga that did it for me. I cannot understand how anyone can say that coming in for Allen was not in breach of an agreement, gentlemen's or otherwise.

Huw Jenkins on 1st June: “We have got some protection on Brendan coming back for our players in the initial period, which I think is the right thing,”

So he's even made his former chairman look like a dick.

Unscrupulous, shady, ruthless and ultimately dishonest in my book and let's hope the FA throw the book at the media's latest darling. That said, I'm not sure we should get embroiled in this. Let's rise above it and concentrate on our own Club.

On the face of it Fulham have a case.

Just because it is against the rules doesn't mean that any particular actor has the power to stop it whilst it is happening. Just because it could not be stopped does not mean that nothing happened to circumvent rules and to interfere with a player under contract.

    hear hear <applause>

I'm more than happy with rogers replacement, the cash we've had as a result and our new signings as a result.
I really couldn't give a toss what comes of it, I just thought it was a point of interest

Fulham's complaint is horseshit, they're only doing it to prepare their supporters for Dempsey leaving. Make themselves look like they're putting up a fight.

The website the Dempsey story was on has no direct relation to Liverpool, and was the mistake of an American intern. End of.

All tabled offers to the respective clubs with no orchestrated media hype designed to unsettle the players. Liverpool even posted on their website that they had signed Dempsey

Thing is this is the press that's linking us with these players, not from someone within the club. Bit of a difference to what Brandan did.

Pedro - question. Why would we get reported for behaving within the rules?

NI: I don't think it'll be the "end of" at all but we'll see. Try to care defending Rodgers reneging on the agreement?

Please don't say other teams had come in for Allen because they hadn't.

Why? We tabled bids for these players, we have not done our laundry on the back pages, by the way you forgot Celtic and Watford, West Brom and Wrexham in all that !

"The Premier League has received a complaint from Fulham regarding
certain comments made by Liverpool officials and is currently looking
into the matter," read a statement issued by the Premier League.
Jol advised Dempsey to look to Robin van Persie's #24million move
from Arsenal to Manchester United for instruction on how a transfer
    should be completed.
"There are always players in football like Van Persie who want to move,
but they keep quiet," he said.
"This was different. Although we like to keep everything under the
surface, it was impossible. Van Persie did the right thing.
"I always hope for players to keep a low profile and wait for what will
happen. It's better for the manager and club."

I'm sorry I wasn't aware we had upset Celtic or Wrexham as their coaches have been quoted saying it was good business.
Anyway there's no need to get so worked up! ( are you all the same in the valleys). I feel the same as you, WE TRUST IN OUR HUW! without him where would we be

I'm not worked up about anything, but you are quoting that the club could be reported for going after players, I fail to see where the swans have gone on record and said we are chasing players from these clubs. There is a significant difference to Rodgers saying that he wants players from certain teams, then getting the press to do the work for them. One of the Liverpool fans on here even said that's what is happening. And the way most other clubs do business, looking at the gunners and utd on the transfer of van persie it was nothing like what Liverpool does.

There is a marked difference in Liverpool since the yanks have arrived, and I mean the other yanks who owned them as well as this lot. Their underhanded tactics is clearly the way they do business now, they use the press to get their objectives, and not just the British press but the yank ones as well, so the British press gets it from there as well.

I am thankful I am from here instead of Liverpool and support my local team, because I don't think I could cope with how low they have now sunk.

Difficult to prove tapping up, but I wouldn't trust the Irishman as far as I could throw him, will be interesting to see what happens with the FA! Regarding Dai, and his insistence on Joe wanting to go, would that be after he was tapped up or before?............. <laugh>
