Has Vardy scored yet? <whistle>

All in good time, John <ok>

How did Matt Mills do last year, may I ask.

Bought for 4m, made club captain, was absolutely ****, allegedly nutted the gaffer, was made available for a transfer and we still managed to scam £2.5m off the Trotters <ok>

Proschwitz needs time to adapt to the English game, Vardy doesn't. Everyone is expecting very big things from Proschwitz just based on the fee but, the only thing people are forgetting is that he does need time to adapt and he won't do that within just a couple of games.

You don't think there is a difference between Championship and BSP?

Take off your orange and black tinted specs, for god sake.

Hull City are Black and Amber not Orange and Black

No, it's orange.

This is amber;

But doesn't that just make Vardy better value for money

With Fryatt injured if I was a Hull fan I would be very concerned to where the goals are going to come from. 2 League games and 1 goal. Sounds alot like last season all over again for them. Solid at the back but bloody useless up top.

Erm, by all means no ! If my team had payed 1m for a non-league player, then I would be wooried

Instead, your side has brought a £2.6m, German, 26 year old nobody and you're suicidal.

In all fairness, both Vardy and Proschwitz will need time to settle and adapt, but changing your style would be easier for Vardy rather than moving from the German League. I agree that the £2.6 million fee may be way over what I would have paid for a consistent goal scorer who is still young and is getting slated for not scoring in his first 2 games...

Then again, football is all about gambles and we'll find out whether Proschwitz turned out to be a good or bad gamble as we nearer the end of the Season. We wasn't going to get anywhere without even trying to sign anyone who at least looked as though they could score and assist more goals.

Big Nick has proven in many Seasons that he can score consistently and when you're desperate for goals, it seems worth gambling a large fee for something that might work. It's not like as though that's half of the Club's bank account drained in that signing though. We do also have wealthy owners but they just don't feel the need to splash cash left right and centre hoping to sign a few good players that will hopefully gel.
