    <laugh> I'm afraid I was.

DB10, whilst plastered all over that site, is not appreciated for his words of wisdom it seems . . . .

So you've won then. As usual, we gift a heavily linked player to an opponent. Well done.

Apparently Rodgers was quoted as saying that negotiations had gotten quite far down the line, he wouldn't say that if he didn't think the move was possible.

I expected us to muck it up (flashbacks to Mata last season), and it looks like we will.

This isn't me doing my opposite trick. I genuinely believe he's going to Liverpool, and we've cocked up. Maybe we were never even interested, and we've feigned interest to keep the fans happy after the Song sale.

I think Sahin has looked at our congested (quality) midfield and he wasn't sure if he'd make it in our first 11 to be honest...

He's leaving RM to get game time, and he knows he will have less competition at Liverpool. That could be it at least.

    <laugh> Quality!!!???

We have 1 world class midfielder (Cazorla), 1 solid midfielder (arteta), and a bunch of average joes. Wilshere is injured, and will probably never reach the same level again, considering he hasn't played for over a year. Sahin is an upgrade over everyone bar Cazorla.

Wilshere, Rosicky and Diaby are all class. Of course they will be heavy competition to a guy that played 10 games all season...

I assume you never saw Sahin play for Dortmund.

I have. And Wilshere, Arteta, Cazorla are all better.

Cazorla yes, Wilshere (pre-injury) is slightly inferior, but Arteta is nowhere near.

Are you being thick just for the sake of it? Those are three players who know the league and the club. You think they'd be no competition to Sahin for a place in our first 11? What the actual ****?

Sky sports news are basically reporting him as a Liverpool player. I'm guessing it won't have a buy out clause. If it does, I'll be ****ed off.
