Close to my views on the performances Pud. Your exclusion of Gary Hooper is significant in that he was fairly anonymous although that was not altogether surprising given the formation and overall team performance, particularly in the first half. I thought Kelvin Wilson did ok for the spell in which he featured. He kept it simple - an example of which a few others should have followed earlier in the match (now where is that time machine when one needs it!) We tend to start slow enough in games never mind the fact that it's just the start of the season and we haven't got up to full speed yet in any game. I hope I'm wrong but I reckon we could be in for a very tough return leg if we don't up our game. They have nothing to lose now and are bound to come out all guns blazing -an early goal for them could see a nail-biting time for us.
A little bit harsh Dev. Yes, overall the team performance, particularly in the first half, was poor but I think Scott Brown gives the team a drive which is sadly lacking when he's absent. I, for one, am always glad to see his name on the first team sheet in any game.
I'm a big fan of Scott Brown, always have been, but he was not fit, that was the only reason I would not have played him.
... but surely understandable that the gamble was taken and as such an influential player he was played, even if not fully fit, given the financial reward to be had for success just at this stage?
Simple I have told you before there sites on the internet where you can meet your kind. On reflection probably not as most people using the internet has an IQ over 50. However if you a Dev want to make something out of yourselves please go ahead, I know Dev likes to publish these things but really simple we don't need to know. Watch out for a bomb scare if you go near Dev.
It was a gamble and I understand why it was taken but I don't think Brown contributed much in reality.
Hoopers performance has divided folk. I though he worked really hard and (like you say) the formation didn't especially suit him.
agree - not really his fault he was having to come so deep he is a lot better passer of the ball than i thought - far better than broony (who i rate btw - i just thought he had a poor game)
