Funny thing is Leeds United will get more coverage than QPR this season, just like we did last season, more people care about Leeds than QPR. We where on TV more times before christmas than you was all last season
Geeze Good to hear from you again mate! I used to enjoy your posts on the old 606 board and must say miss a lot of the old posters that visited our boards. As for the 6 teams? Now this is my opinion: Reading,Saints,WestSham,Norwich,Wigan,WestBrom and yes Swans (even though the did tonk us last week they will crumble around xmas). For me all those teams will struggle. I won't jump the gun after one game and i have predicted our fate exactly over the last 3 seasons. Anyway enough of QPR how are the 'Wall' going to do this year?
Do you realise how stupid you sound by saying that? Sorry bloke but only in Leeds is anyone interested because the rest are not.
Really? You may be right but that is very surprising if true. Anyway, they might not care about us but do you think more people in the world care about the premier league or the championship?
Basically Kenny is a twat and most people in football know that. He is liked by many and hated by many, that's football. His drunken behaviour doesn't surprise me, he's known for thinking he's funny when drunk or something else. I would fine him and inform him if anything like this ever happens again, then he's sacked and finished in football. It would get the rules across very quickly and leaves him firmly in the knowledge that he must follow the rules at the club. Funny how Kenny gets praised for his actions!
What 6 teams mate??? Seriously I think West Ham and perhaps Villa if they dont push on under Lambert may be on parity with you but worse??? Certainly not Swansea - certainly not Readong or Saints who fought hard against top 4 teams and will gt loads of points at home against the rest - sunderland - maybe - Fulham - good start!!! Who else????? QPR are f'ddd in my opinion. Enjoy your last season in the prem.
There's thousands of Leeds fans spread out across the British Isles and around the globe who are interested in how Leeds do, not just those based in Leeds. Huge fan base, piss poor team
Football changes and teams that were once big/great can now be nothing. Had this debate so many times before. Yes Leeds were one of the big four but now they are a million miles away from clubs like QPR. Seriously other than some good home gates and a fab away support you don't really have anything else. Living in the past some people call it. I guess if you were once something and now nothing you need something to hold onto. 3 years ago QPR were struggling at the bottom of the Championship and now we are in the Prem/New training/New stadium on the way/great sponsors/Global brand/Our own Jet Plane/F1 car and one of the biggest 'trenders' on Twitter. Sorry but the Mittals probably haven't heard of Ken Bates, and Leeds is just a city in England. Don't want to be harsh but that's life and football.
Ellers Old 606 was much better for crossboard threads. Think we will finish in top half this season - might even sneak into the playoffs - As long as West Ham go down, not bothered about the rest of the Premiership tbh!!
Agree it was better 'crossboard threads' as you could debate easily with anyone/any division. I do miss the old board but as i said to the leeds fan, things change. At least your love of West Sham hasn't? Good stuff with the 'Wall'.
If the club is taking it this seriously then it clearly goes way beyond simple banter. Sending a text message saying "ha ha ha we won and you lost" is one thing but clearly we're talking about a lot more than that. Some people really shouldn't be allowed access to telecommunications equipment when they've had a few beers........
Kenny's a ******, seriously, he's got the brain smaller than that of the world's most stupid jellyfish. And we all know how stupid jellyfish are, yeah?
In North America I see many people wearing the jerseys of British football clubs and I take note of what I am seeing. I can honestly say I have never seen a QPR jersey but I see Leeds jerseys periodically. Take that however you choose to.
Looked at a match day thread when Leicester lost the other day and he was wishing a player a career threatening injury or to break his leg because he scored against them.
Sorry but you're the one making stupid comments. You mightbe able to figure out from my name, I m from nowhere near Leeds. We have hundreds of thousands of fans spread across the world. Two full plane loads from Dublin alone for league one play off a few years back, almost as many as Doncaster brought to the game. When we return to the premiership you'll see the level of support we have worldwide
Firstly, Kenny is an idiot for what he did but is it honestly a story worth printing? Oh wait, its the Mail so not surprised, stupid ****ing paper with Kenny-like reporters. Still haven't forgiven Leeds for destroying the Busby team that was meant to rule the world after Benfica but couldn't push on and ended up relegated while Leeds were winning another title. Green - he was toast after chucking in that goal against USA, and he simply doesn't have the confidence anymore. Saturday showed he will probably never get it back, and he is a real threat to QPR if they don't get another keeper in. Your owners are in it for money and celeb status, they are bullshit artists who will sack the manager at the drop of a hat. £24m loss last season will become even bigger if QPR go down, and a club I really like will be in deep **** with a massive squad on silly money. I am concerned for the Super Hoops because they are one of thise clubs who can't sustain an overpaid squad due to their small fan base. Leeds are still rated as one of the ten biggest clubs in England because of their massive fan base. Unfortunately for QPR, even being in the Prem won't grow their fan base as newcomers latch on to Chelsea, ManUre, ManCity and Arsenal instead. It is harder in London as there are so many better clubs to follow. Leeds will always get support from the city and Yorkshire so a return to the Prem will help griw the fan base again. These are the facts, regardless of how emotional we all get so I hope QPR get it right, but I just don't trust their owners, and who knows how they will react if Rangers go down.
