The great Dane was a good shout, but Cantona takes it for me as IMHO he totally changed Man U and led by example. A dynasty was built around him. Plus I was one of the rare ones who understood his seagulls poem. This shouldn't bring back a smile to my face. But it does, and sums the guy up exactly. I had to graft, my mates did say quite a lot of the Sunderland lads were applauding the goal. [h=1]Eric Cantona crowned king of Premier League goal celebrations[/h] http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...c-cantona-crowned-king-of-premier-league-goal As per usual Eric had the last word. "That’s the only thing I won? For a king like me it’s not a lot," Cantona jokingly stated to the Premier League's official website.
I was there too with my uncle (in the Utd end as his brother in law worked fopr and got us tickets) and who sadly passed away a few years ago now and we just turned to each other and laughed out loud. The goal itself was absolutely sublime but the celebration was just brilliant and made it even more special. I too shouldnt like this but never tire watching it and like MackemRule, it brings a smile to my face both for the goal and remembering my old uncle who I miss greatly still.
Twat! What about adding the worst signings? <<< Straight in with a center forward to Chelski. Nope not Torres. But Chris Sutton, did he actually score for them?
