In the modern era of football, no manager is going to be allowed the sort of start that Fergie had at the start of his reign - what was it? Seven years to get his first title?

League finishes of 11th, 13th, 11th in consecutive seasons?

Fans, shareholders, owners, board of directors all want results instantly and if that isn't forthcoming then there'll be a lengthy round of hiring/firing.

Excactly... Even with an exceptional amount of money you still need an exceptional manager. Look what happened to Chelsea when Moreen left! City are a different kettle of fish though, my dog could win the league with that amount of cash.

What Fergie achieved with Man Utd is exactly why Liverpool need to stick behind BR even if it takes him years to build a new team that can compete. I am hoping we can offer the same to Pardew.

Lets be fair... Erikkson lost the plot years ago! he had a massive financial advantage over the rest in the Championship with Leicester and he ****ed that up too. Hugghes isn't a good manager either, I would say hes on a par with my **** Tzu :)

Manchester United in their history have had enough drunks to fill a drying out clinic.

One of your posters did try to make out that Kenny Dalglish was a drunken tramp when he's anything but.

He's a saint compared to your classless manager, some of his antics have been rotten.

I will do nothing of the sort. Your manager has less class than Gary Glitter and politicians.

    Erm...

No, I honestly dont know many people who respect Dalglish anymore*, he ruined his reputation. He refused to admit defeat, moaned about how hard done by you were and like all morons did things without thinking.

For who he was he is still respected but for what he is now hes far from.

Fergie on the other hand has the respect of his peers.

Be honest lads, Kenny is a man stuck in the 80's.

He didnt have a clue what he was doing with anything, signing, man management, tactics.

And baz seriously, get off the bandwagon, its quite clear only morons are upset by what I type. Saying that you would fit right into that category wouldnt you Barry Ray <ok>
