    looks like it could be a very good signing. can't say i have seen him much but at 28, 6ft 3, lots of international experience it sounds like exactly what the doctor ordered! get it done cleggy!

    He looks like another Manu Thetis to me!

    Would be good as a Centre Back to partner Chambers.

    If Jewell gets this guy in to replace the fantastic Luke Hyam there will be open revolt!

    apparently, there are rumours that he would be allowed to leave on a free if we agree to a sell on percentage if we sell him.

    Medical is planned for this afternoon, and signs tomorrow on a 1 year loan deal. His agents are with Clegg at the ground now.











    my bet is within 2 hours the deal is off!

    I loved Santos, never afraid to try a bit of skill in a poor position!!

    Looks like this guy is being signed as a CM, not one of the positions we urgently need strengthening but we still do need strengthening. I hope this won't mean that Hyam and Drury are left on the sidelines, they've both looked very good so far, I think Drury could be pushing for a start maybe even on the RW inplace of JET who hasn't found form yet!!

    Have you guys actually seen this guy play at all because most of the things i have read are from people saying he is an absolute Donkey and we don't want another Delonkey in the team!!
    Seriously, is this what we need, a defensive midfielder, coz thats what he is, not a CB but a defensive midfielder that can play CB in an emergency. Would much rather see a proper CB or Striker signed.
    Yes we have to give the guy a chance but i personally am not expecting much from this guy and find the signing rather dull and a waste of time.
