So our first game of the season tonight and should be a good game. The summer has flown by with the Olympics being on and it surprised me considering I thought i would be bored to death with no domestic football on but that's not been the case.

That Davidako is such a prick. Just as bad as KPR was with the insults.

I see Arsenal fans celebrating being above us.

After one game! I genuinely pity them for their utter desperation. You couldn't make it up, it's a sad indication that they think the premier league table means a thing after one ****ing game. By their own bench mark they will finish mid table, which to be fair is probably a true reflection of how good they currently are.

I think we need to buy one more player in this window, we can't possibly carry on with Carrick at centre half and Scholes starting games. We might end up losing another on the back of Monday and then we would be playing a bit of catch up. There are players with experience available cheaply, Fergie needs to consider this.

I wouldn't mind that tiote from the Geordies or they have another central mid which is pretty decent too.

Can't see him buying another cb he will muddle through til people are fit again.. Can also see us losing to fulham with our defense as it is.. Surely playing someone from the youth team or the reserves would be better than carrick and Valencia

Tiote would cost, Huddlestone would be a freebie to get us out of a hole. Season long lone with a view to buy, thanks very much.

The Valencia situation is what you get by ignoring the problem and buying more attackers. He deserves to play so Fergie plays him at right back, thus negating what he is good at. I personally would sell Nani now and concentrate on using Valancia, Kagawa, Young in those postions off the forwards. We don't actually need Nani to be fair and he frustrates as much as he creates.

    Sell Nani, buy CM. Sorted.

    Looks tidy..

You will have a challenge with a couple of my mates as they play to a pretty high standard.. So your play won't get dragged down by me..

    Happily take that on!

This is Ross, a far better course than the other one which is set up for societies. Good load of pubs in Ross on Wye too if you were staying over.

See what I mean about the trees! Once the leaves start to fall it's a **** to find your ball so maybe not the best option late September.

Looks nice, will start putting my feelers out for numbers over the next week, as my cousin and uncle may want to come too.. Could do with about 12 people I guess I can think of 10 including you..

We were talking of playing that Texas game where everyone plays from the best lye.

Not a fan of Texas scrambles, I think they are **** myself. Just a personal preference of course, my view is if I'm going to a course I've never played before then I want to play that course, not play it from lies other people have put me in. I get enough of that with team golf and foresomes!

To let you know, my daughters christening is towards the end of September but as I said last night, you plan and I'll see if I can make it.

Got a great golf day coming up in a few weeks, get the day off and paid for it as i'm representing my firm in an RNLI fund raiser which we're hosting.

It's at Ashburnham, which used to hold PGA events. It is a marvelous golf course, probably 2nd only to Royal Porthcawl round here.

Don't have to play Texas scrambles.. Perhaps fourballs matchplay first nine then stableford for 18..

Would you be able to get a day off people are talking 17 sept which is a Monday.. Though the hard bit is tryin to get everyone free on the same dates

Saw that article which was posted on the board with the Sun claiming that Nani will be dropped from the next game. We will know whether this is true or not by seeing if Nani is in the starting line up for the next game.

Not keen to allocate a day off to it but it is possible. Trouble being that work golf day is the Friday of that weekend and I'm a bit swampped to be taking a long weekend. It wouldn't be ideal for me but, I reiterate, plan ahead and I'll see what I can do to make it. Don't plan round me.

Alan, from my point of view I repeat what I said earlier. I think the time is right to cash in on Nani and replace him with a player we need.

**** me that banter thread is getting tedious now.

As if Davidako wasn't bad enough we now have a Geordie knuckle dragger to contend with aswell. I'm all for banter but you can't have any normal discussion on their football wise or not football related without out of them spouting there usual **** <grr>

Mate, I'd rather eat my own **** than go back on there. I ****ed it off a long while back, save for the odd comment. I actually feel cleaner and healthier as a result.

**** 'em, leave them to it, it is beyond boring. I logged off this site last night saying I was having a break but stuck my head round the door this morning, can't resist the odd look!

It was the imbecilic Arsenal fans celebrating mid table and being above us after ONE GAME that made me realise what utter ****wits use the site.

Not necessarily. Nani played **** against Everton, so would probably be dropped anyway even if there's no plans to sell him. The S*n is probably just fishing around hoping to sell some more papers on the back of him being dropped.

Agreed and I am posting on it much less than I used to when you have the likes of Davidako spouting **** all the time. Do think the banter thread should be moved back to the United board which Mick should be able to sort out. At least then the likes of Davidako and Ben Arfa's revenge cant comment as they are banned from this board.
