Well, whatever the reason, good luck to him. Scott did everything and more that was asked of him and he was a major factor in helping deliver us Premier League football. I hope he leaves with the goodwill and best wishes of all the Jacks faithful.
like i have said....He would relish playing for ML, ....But its his decision and he must have reasons that are private so good luck to him...
will be sad to see him go can't beleive how stupid he is going to man city, ok fair enough about wages beyond his dreams down here, but its going to be sucidial for his long term career.
What do people thnk he'll be getting per week with Man City ? 60k - 80k minimum ? 4 year contract ? 60k for a 4 year contract = 60,000 x 52 weeks x 4 years = 12,480,000 80k for a 4 year contract = 80,000 x 52 weeks x 4 years = 16,640,000 Lorra lorra money.
No doubt, he did a great job for us but the way our transfers are going he might just as well warm his arse on the bench at Man C for a lot more money than warming his arse on ours. The mind boggles thinking about our starting line up for Saturday. Does anyone else get the feeling that something startling is happening with Swansea City? I know it's early, but the second half against our nemesis QPR was astonishing. It's been a good few years since we have even won our first game of the season let alone 0-5. Our next few games are against potential non title threatening teams, no disrespect to other teams, but with a continued performance like last Saturday we could consolidate our position before the nightmare of fixtures at the end of the season. If we are safe by then then we can go for it and who knows what will happen, top 6? Top 4? Am I being to ambitious? From what I've seen so far, it's got me thinking, it's a possibility with the signings we've made so far and ML at the helm? Who knows. I'm certainly optimistic. A Fine time to be a Swan.
I certainly think we are more than capable of winning our first 3 anyway - QPR done, WHU home, Sunderland home. Then comes Villa away and Everton at home - we all know those managers did a job on us last year and Everton have just deservedly beaten Man Utd so that's the toughest game so far to my thinking. If we manage even 10 points from the first 4 games it will be amazing, but some people will get carried away with it lol. I'll gladly accept any victory on the weekend but I'd love 2 or 3 goals and a clean sheet to boot.
We beat Villa away last season, Stereo but as you rightly say Lambert's there now. Still think we can get something there. I'm less optimistic about Everton. I agree, NJS, there seems to be a massive transformation at the Club. We're spending money - even if it's only what we had in through Allen - and the changes on the pitch judging by what happened Saturday are huge. Hard not to get carried away. Trouble is the game has a terrible habit of biting you in the ass.
Good shout Aswan lets call the season overland get ready for champions league football hey. on a serious note I also feel that we should be able to consolidate our result on Saturday with another good result on SaturDay.
Fulham are away at Man U on Saturday so any sort of win against West Ham should see us top on goal difference
I don't think Sinclair is going anywhere. City are dithering. They must have plenty of options for this type of player ncluding Johnson not leaving. It's been reported that we are still in for Hernandez regardless of Sinclair. If so we have our two wing positions covered.
How would u feel if Scott decides to stay? Happy/sad/mixed? Mixed for me because on sat he did show us what we could be missing.
