Man v Food

I was watching the other day and a guy managed to eat a buritto (spelling? where Bluff when you need him?) that was seventeen inches long and weighed over five pounds. He ate it in three minutes and ten seconds! #legend

Edit: It wasn't Adam Richman that did it, he was preparing for a different challenge. It was done by a guy named Joey 'the jaws'.....???

 

Sounds a nice appetizer... what was the main course?

 

I think is was chilli hotdogs. Adam Richman managed seventeen in less than an hour, the previous record was sixteen.

Edit: seventeen doesn't sound too challenging but I believe the chiili was HOT!

 

The burrito ( 2r's) are hard as you can fill so much in them. There is one of a breakfest style burrito out in cali that has some 10 eggs, 4 pounds of potatoes, 4 cans of green chiles, 3 pounds of sausage, etc and he barely put a dent in it.

My hometown had a challenge that Adam couldn't beat.

Sasquatch in Memphis TN and it was a giant burger that he failed to devour.

 

I think I've seen the chilli hotdog challenge, I remember thinking that they didn't look too big but the chilli must have been hot!

 

Two things with the hot that slows you down/fills you up is it actually being hot from tha pan and then the heat of the chili itself ( I like mine a bit medium but sure that the challenge was flaming hot).

Gotta be crazy to do that type of **** though.

I had a vindaloo the other day... cwaiter warned me it was very hot... and it was... but not that hot... disappointed...
