The two young guys who are not getting the games or chances are actually the two who are probably the most technically gifted........Make sense of that.

I would also rather have Ngoo..he is a threat at set pieces.......has great ball control for a giant..Is very difficult to get the ball off of and is just all round better than Ecclestone.....

I will back the manager...but some of his decisions are just baffling.........In a years time he wil be moaning that we have no technically gifted players in the squad

Ngoo has been scoring non-stop as well. Reward them with a chance see what they can do, if it doesn't work, let's get them a loan, some more experience and see how they come back. Shelvey is example number 1 of what a good loan can do for you.

Deffinately....If they are not involved in the first team plans, Pacheco, Suso and Ngoo should probably go out on loan.....Too good for reserves and wont get any better playing for them......Just go stale...

Hope Robinson gets game time though...and looking forward to seeing Shelvey play

and if something happens and we need to recall them, no problem! They come back full of confidence and ready to show that they have improved. Wilson is another one who said being out on loan helped take him to another level because he was getting minutes. best way to learn.

At least Sterling seems to be right on the fringe of the squad and even a big feature for Europe. Can't complain about that.

yeh Agreed. Glad Sterling is involved..........Think Suso will get his chance in the future as he is still very young......Just really wanted Dani to get a chance, he looked good preseaon both attacking and defensive positioning and now just seems to have dropped right out of the picture....

Hope he gets a loan move somewhere to allow to actually develop a footballing career...Rather than us just letting him rot...Poor guy

I dont know if this has been mention but the BBC say that Gerrard, Suarez, Skrtel, Enrique and Johnson will all be rested. Assaidi is cup for this round, but only this round.

    The full squad is:

Reina, Jones, Kelly, Agger, Carragher, Coates, Flanagan, Shelvey, Lucas, Adam, Allen, Henderson, Spearing, Downing, Borini, Carroll, Wilson, Robinson, Sterling, Eccleston.

    I'd select:

    --------------------Reina-------------------
    -Kelly--Carragher--Agger--Flanagan-
    --------------------Allen-------------------
    ----------Shelvey-------Henderson----
    --Downing--------------------Sterling--
    -------------------Carroll------------------

Would give Lucas 60minutes to get fitness up and Borini some time to settle more.

Robinson would be ahead of Flanno at left back?

John Flanagan is more of a right back than a left back.

rumours abound that the lfc team is known now and betting has happened on who's playing.

If we see the team out on the net tomorrow morning it'll confirm.

I can see it now... Crash out of the Europa league, not get a point until October in the League (quite fooking possible!) and the Manager out before Xmas....
