Martin to bolt,
Down the wing sweetly
Then cross it to Holt,
Who with the deftest
Of touches can choose,
Whether to pass it
Or blast past the blues,
Football is simple
When played in the mind,
But we all know
It´s not always that kind,
But on this day
Where there´s so much at stake,
One can just dream
We´ll leave them in our wake,
I think we match them
Well, man to man,
And I´m sure PL
Has worked out a plan,
And when it´s mattered
Even if it is late,
Our lads have produced
And stepped up to the plate,
I must say I´m hoping
That that auto spot,
Will outweigh the home pride
That those blues have got,
If this had been any
Other away game,
I´d have been in no doubt
That this lot we´d tame,
But this one is special
And to take the prize,
Will take a huge effort
That we can´t disguise,
But we´ve beaten the odds
Time and time again,
Since PL took charge, so
Don´t rule out our men,
And although this game
Is riddled in and out,
With ´if only´s´and ´what if´s´
I´m in no real doubt,
We´ve not had to question
In either those ways,
On many occasions
Our away day plays,
So roll on tomorrow
And roll up your sleeves,
I´ve a feeling we´ll do it

Going for 4-2 with Holt getting another hatrick and Russel Martin weighing in also (he has to be one of the players of the season for me). I wont be surprised if we are 2-1 down at HT but we will rally and dominate the final 45.

IF we go up, I'm looking forward to reading your poetic version of the event already!

Don't think we're going to thrash them tonight, as they are a much better outfit than last time out.
Still can't look past a Norwich win though, as we have got the biggest possible prize to play for; the promised land! (and of course £90 million smackeroons.)

Pride, in a sense, has been somewhat chucked out of the window for our team and our fans for this particular derby - the three points are worth so much more! At any rate, that's how I'm viewing this one.

In a way this makes me quite worried! Looking at it from an Ipswich perspective... they would like nothing more than to wipe that potential-promotion-grin right off our faces, and send us straight to hell!

Gonna be an epic derby despite the strange perspective I have on it at the moment, I can't wait.
