According to Bryan Swanson on Sky Sports News - Portpin have renewed their interest in "saving" PFC again.

    Their statement says:

To be honest, when I first saw it I had to check the date........... just such a 1st of April kind of statement.

I just wish we really knew what was happening. I mean we get some of the facts, but I'd love to know the real truth.

Oh well, it's no longer "apparently" - been confirmed now on Sky news website.

It seems the trust had problems guaranteeing 3 years cashflow plus the reduction by 75% of the negotiated football creditors agreements.

Hey ho - perhaps another day then.

For a minute there, there was such an air of optimism around the place.

Don't tell Lapras - he was going to go to the Oldham game.

Chanrai still trying to recover some of his money. If the PST aren't able to take over and potentially buy FP off him, there is a good chance the club is liquidated and he gets nothing. The worrying thing is he has no interest in the club, but is just happy to keep it limping along so he might get some of his money back at some point.

And we have another tyre-kicker on the scene, apparently fronted by Admin Andy, the former owner of Watford FC.

    Never a dull day eh?

Hopefully, Chanrai taking over will spur more people to pledge to them.

You know I think there are a lot of people waiting for some clarity from the PST and wanting to see the prospectus before they pledge their hard earned cash. Plus they needed to do a lot more for the ones who can't raise £1k but can raise a lot less. There are a lot of innovative ideas which just aren't being acted on - although to be fair to the trust they are all doing this in their own time, they just don't seem to be too good in knowing how to mobilise help.
