I thought I'd share this link from DL, who doubtless due to an oversight only posted it on Arsenal's board: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...786/Stars-quit-Arsenal-and-win-44-medals.html "Since winning the 2005 FA Cup, Arsenal have gone trophyless as they offloaded 17 top players, who won 44 major medals with 11 different clubs. Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri, RVP and Song are some names who left for glory. Arsenal raked in £163m for those who left, without the £39m they will get for RVP and Song. In our research, we have not included the Community Shield or national Super Cups. Ironically, players won medals with PORTSMOUTH (1 FA Cup for Sol Campbell and Lassana Diarra) and BIRMINGHAM (1 Carling Cup for Seb Larsson and Alex Hleb)." "Ironically" indeed. The story goes on to explain that Song's adjustment to Barca has been easy "because Cesc helps me out."
I will never undeRstand a team that at 2-1 up do not have the belief that they can go 3-1 up, yet at 3-2 down start to play some football in order to get an equaliser. I hope Reading go down..and I hope Chelsea leave a bit of luck for the rest of us. The Lino had 1 job to do and he could not even do that!
they did deserve to. At 2-1 up they decided to let Chelsea rip them a new buthole, then at 3-2 down they decided to venture out a little and push Chelsea back as a result. For once negative tactics got punished, good! Even if it is the lucky Kants in blue that prospered.
Just seen this. Probably not far from the truth! http://newsthump.com/2012/08/20/howard-webb-completes-shock-move-to-man-city/
Yep. I hope you're all with me from the start when I say Chelsea will get a hell of a lot of luck like they did last season. It's a case of here we go again until it runs out as it surely must.
