Why not as what we had on the field was not working, therefore it should have been changed earlier IMO
Unlucky i think, Bruce got his tactics spot on as far as i can gather. I think it comes down to them having better individuals and us having a striker that hasn't settled yet, Aluko sounds like he got plenty of shots off but a lot were sliced. We move on...
I don't see why anybody is getting upset with a defeat to one of the fancied teams in this division. Most people didn't have any expectations coming into this match- so a defeat isn't the end of the world. No need to criticise the team or the manager- these things happen. You learn more from a defeat.
He scores last game and gets benched, FFS what has the lad got to do to get a decent run in the team.
Yes kept hearing "Aluko through on goal, scuffed it" was becoming a regular occurance! Bit pissed off with that result if I'm honest, Blackburn sounded **** a scraped what sounded a very lucky goal. Wasteful in front of goal has cost us.... yet again.... with Aluko sounding the biggest culprit. I'm beginning to think it will never change and we'll still rely on clean sheets and moments of brilliance.
Dunno who is criticizing the team or manager, I was just asking why it was not changed earlier as we were just not scoring and 1 of our only goal scoring player was benched. Blackburn were there for the taking IMO,however we seem to be lacking in the goals department, same as last season. I did put IMO and I stick by my opinion, thanks..
I agree Robo think the German lad is finding his feet and should start on the bench- even Van Persie made the bench the other night.
chill out, he's not considered as threatening as Aluko on the break and he's not 6ft3" so he didn't feature in our gameplan, which was working perfectly until they scored against the run of play. If they were dominating and scored i'd agree Bruce should have made the change but they weren't. Management means making tough decisions, personally i think he's more threatening off the bench anyway.
