Southampton v Wigan match thread

A great performance at the Etihad but no reward. I'm a lot more confident about this game. Wigan's problem is that they lack a consistent goalscorer. Moses is more of a creator and he's probably off to Chelsea anyway. It would be nice to get a win in this game due to the games coming up, but not a must win game, and I think we will win.

Prediction: 3-1 Saints, Lambert, Lallana and Rodriguez with the goals.

 

Does anyone else feel we are kind of wasting lallana and rodriguez. I thought our old 442 would suit our team better. Or is this just me?
But despite that should be a good game

 

I think Lallana will thrive in his new position, given time.

 

1-0 Saints for me, Rodriguez to get a goal quite early on and we'll be hanging on until the end.

 

I just want to say that people should avoid putting everything on this game. No suicides if we lose just because it's the weakest game on paper of our first four. If we play our best at home we have an advantage, but Wigan aren't stooges just because they are not Man City, Arsenal or Man U.

How do you find out who the allocated Referee is going to be? I have drawn a blank on Google except a reference to Professional Game Match Officials Board but no ideas on how to find out which Referee is doing which game.
