I think your obvious bias on this subject and many others along with most goons leaves me with no choice but to to put your attitudes in a nutshell,so I do..I really think you should be crying over RVP instead of looking for holes in the Ade transfer for peanuts to Spurs...as for my username...my old 1 is still on display on purpose...this is why I nip it in the bud..you just say things that mean nothing, just blind bias.

i think gent as never got over Ade leaving the Goons, and then turning up at the home of the real north london team
I can't say that I totally understand matters involving football so I refrain from commenting about subjects about which I am unclear. Why is City paying for Ade's services? Does this mean he doesn't play against them as in the loan agreement? Ade is ex Arsenal but he's accepted amongst Spurs supporters yet RvP is hated as is Walcott amongst Spurs supporters. It all beats me.
i only believe it now when it becomes official, seeing as we've been linked to every striker on the planet almost.
I wish I knew how much they lose on transfers. They paid £32m for Robinihio (sp) They paid around £18m for R santa Cruz They paid £24m Adebayor They paid £14m for Craig Bellamy that's without Wayne Bridge & SWP...
He can play against city as he is not on loan. If RVP or Walcott came to the lane and scored 17 goals and set up another 12 or so they'd be accepted as would any player. If Adebayor turned out like Bentley he wouldn't be accepted at all....
Paupers or extremely smart? Is this not the same as us buying a very good player for cheap? I would call it smart. As for City paying one of our player's wages...I can't think of any other word but 'smart'.
Are they actually paying on a weekly basis or have they just given him a lump sum equivalent to X per week over 2 years?
That's what i was wondering. At the end of the day city gave him a contract for x amount for x duration, they don't want him and as no one else was going to pay his wage he has held his former employers to his contract, which he is entitled to do. I hope he knocks a few past them this year Yes a sound bit of business by Levy, doesn't matter whether a lump sum or amount paid into his account every week, we still have a bargain
Its a good deal for city as well, as they had no choice as no one would match ades wage demands. They get 5 million which covers the wages their paying ade while he joins us and i assume they are only paying his wages to match the years left on his city contract. Say he had 2 years left on his city contract but signs a four year contract with us then city are only going to pay part of his wages for two years
I hope he puts a hatful past them. Please, let's not even spare a thought for City, or their ridiculous benefactors. They are a very large part of the insanity that currently pervades the game. They gave Adebayor this ridiculous contract - let them wear it!!...
Gonna defend DL here (hoping rest of thread not going to make me regret this). Since the ban was lifted he has engaged in Spurs debate from a clear Chelsea bias but still fair and open. For me it is interesting to hear a Chelsea viewpoint, but without the wumming. Does occasionally stray, but by and large it is an interesting contribution.
