Why do I bother playing?! So useless at this... Right, i've got no players playing tonight and i'm already 5th from bottom. All of the four teams below me have players who could and probably will feature tonight. This therefore means i'll probably be bottom going into the second gameweek and I already know i've lost my head-to-head. It's difficult to put in words how bad I am at fantasy football.
Go for a guys who take pens, set pieces, corners, and defenders who score off of said set pieces, will put you on the right path Chris.
I have a 10 pt lead over Ze in head to head with to play tonight, sitting 9th in the league but should move up a bit after tonight ( hopefully) and in the United x LFC head to head I have a 15 pt lead over standard town. I thought I was ****ed but Lampard came through in a massive massive way for me.
Weirdly, I think my team is good enough for another mid-table finish this season. It's the fact that I have got off to the worst possible start. I've already got injuries & suspensions to contend with and we're only one week in! Think a couple of changes will have to be made to try and push up from the bottom. Nobody in the my team scored a goal this week and only 1 player got an assist. If Reina hadn't saved that awful penalty from Long, I would have probably broken the record for the worst points haul ever!
Tevez, yaya, lampard, cole, and chico saved me as everyone else had 1 pt or -3 ( agger). Also always check to see if teams are playing 2x in a gameweek ( like Chelsea) as that can get you some major points and advantages as well. I remember Alexander a few years back with Burnley, he took all Pk's and set pieces etc. Was worth like 4 but was one of the top point getters because of that.
I did have a couple of Chelsea players and Fellaini in my first team but then I changed it around... I had Agger & Silva in my team and Agger ended up on minus three and Silva missed a penalty and ended up on nought. I'm gonna try & build up those free transfer and change certain parts of my midfield in a couple of weeks. It has to get better for me next week... I think... I hope... Probably won't!
