[Sky Sports News 15:55] Ephraim has finally earned enough money at QPR to finish off his long unfinished tattoo. The tattoo, on his left buttock, has been unfinished for three years and Hogan, having gained extra pay for cleaning toilets and handing out champagne at QPR functions, has finally gotten enough funds together to finish the ink, which needed some highlighting and colouring. Hogan said, "it's such a relief. I haven't shown my bum to anyone for 3 years. Not even my mum or girlfriend has seen it!" The tattoo is said to be of a dragon eating a hot dog.
Ok, here's the real article from the official QPR: Hogan signs new deal until summer of 2014 Thereâs been a lot of player movement â both in and out â so Iâm happy that Iâve signed and I know where my future lies." Hogan Ephraim HOGAN Ephraim has put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension at Loftus Road. The midfielder has signed a new deal until the summer of 2014, as Mark Hughes continues to strengthen his first team squad. Ephraim, who has made 117 appearances for the Râs since joining â initially on loan â in August 2007, expressed his delight at committing his future to the club, commenting: âItâs very pleasing to have my future sorted. âThereâs been a lot of player movement â both in and out â so Iâm happy that Iâve signed and I know where my future lies. âThe manager has been very good to me ever since he arrived here. He backed me up with a new contract last year and now another one this season. âNow Iâm looking forward to try to force my way into the 25-man squad and stake a claim for a place in the team.â *An exclusive interview with Hogan Ephraim will be on QPR Player soon.
Bit pointless if you ask me....cant see him doing much this season...not good enough for this league....his career has gone stale big time.
what? the lad is very talented IMO ... The tattoo is said to be of a dragon eating a hot dog. phew!!! I thought he had copied me for a minute .. I have one of drag queen riding a dog
I think he would be decent if he put on a bit of muscle and got some hypnosis therapy to cure his fear about getting stuck in. Honestly, he would be decent if he could muscle up. His control is decent and his vision isn't bad. I think he's suffering from confidence problems at the moment, too.
Agree.....but he has hardly been a 1st team starter, even in The Championship......so whats changed to keep him here for another 2 years?
Why? Hes simply too lightweight and not good enough, is he better than Hoilett, Taarabt, Mackie, Park, Traore, SWP or Dyer? All of who play in his position.
I've always liked him and defended him season on season. However, there comes a point - just like with Taarabt - that you have to say: No more second chances, now's the time to produce and if you don't, you're out. You can only use the "potential" excuse for so long. He must deliver NOW!
Can't really find it within myself to get too excited about this particular bit of news. A decent player imo, but please God sign Mbia, Carvalio and Dawson!!
I think you could say that ABU about a few more in the squad ... It's short term and I see more going before Hogan A few on here say lightweight compared to who? The best passer in World football last year Britton from the Swans he is a man mountain
Hoe many assists did he get all season? Oh thats right, not a single one. Anyone can have a massve pass completion ratio if they are all 5 yards back to the CBs.
Well I suppose other lightweight failures would include Modric and Silva. Also, that Messi bloke is a bit small - he won't amount to much.
The above get involved in the game, Ive not realised Hogan has been playing until the 2nd half before because he so often hides and does nothing apart from pass back to the FB. The lightweight is in reference to his refusal to get involved rather than his weight.
I agree with most posters this time Cant see him even getting a place on the bench to the Africa Cup Of Nations are on Warnock should of signed him for Leeds rather than the sewer rat
Oh that's wrong he got 1. You must be very accurate with me please and in your comment are you saying that all his passes were back to the goalkeeper? My point is that Hogan is a very bright prospect and I rate him hence my comment and opinion. His movement and passing is very good and i hope he takes any chances given him. I cannot read comments that think he is too lightweight. I must ask you again to look at modern football and how it's changed in the last five years please. Target man is a term of the pass my friend ... think different as we will see very few target men in the future
