LAdPCeV-B's problem at Chelsea last season wasn't with the big egos per se, it was the fact that Roman sided with them isntead of supporting him.

He tried to lay down the law by dropping Lampard, but that just led to Terry and Drogba whining to those who would listen (Roman, the press) that their mate was being unfairly punished, which undermined him and got Lampard back in the team.

What he should've done upon arrival was sell Lampard and replace him with Meireiles - that would serve as a statement of intent to the usual suspects that he was in charge, as well as demonstrate that they could easily be replaced if they acted up. Instead he half-assed it, bringing in Meireles but retaining Lampard.

    What is that first word???
Edit - just wikipedia'd AVB: Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas. Nice

Its funny you say that is what he should have done, as that seems kinda like what he is doing to us with Daws and Hudd being ushered out and King retiring (not AVB's decision admittedly)

at Madrid and city he wasn't good enough to get started enough to become lazy so we'll never know.

Gallas was actually enthusiastic back then that's why you saw those fits. he's an emotional type. sometimes it manifested in fits, sometimes in crazy marches towards the enemy post to get the winning goal.

Spurs for him are a retirement home I'm afraid, and his expectations are obviously more realistic. He has nothing to be emotional about...

Or your manager allows player to act like twats, so they do and it's become part of the culture of your club.
    One or the other.

2 or 3 players in the space of ten years is nothing. No one even cared about gallas for example, by the time he left he was one off our worst defenders.

2 or 3 players? I think that the list of Goons acting like twats is quite a bit longer than that and you'd agree with most of them, too.
What about the universally hated Nasri, for a start?
    Bendtner?
Wilshere being sent to Bolton to get away from his bellend mates, but managing to get into punch ups anyway?

Honestly, the list just goes on and on.

Nasri acted like a twat on the transfer season, not while he was playing for us.

Not much you can do with players who leave for greener grass.

Players acting like twats is not an issue that affected our success or lack thereof.

We just weren't able to compete for the title with our transfer policy.

Donamara always manages to make the best "I was here too" post.

Tell me something, have you ever actually said something that wasn't a boilerplate non-statement?

Didn't even have to scroll to your signature to know that it was you... name change not quite working then?

I would stay quiet on ethical topics if I was a Chelsea fan.
