He tried to lay down the law by dropping Lampard, but that just led to Terry and Drogba whining to those who would listen (Roman, the press) that their mate was being unfairly punished, which undermined him and got Lampard back in the team. What he should've done upon arrival was sell Lampard and replace him with Meireiles - that would serve as a statement of intent to the usual suspects that he was in charge, as well as demonstrate that they could easily be replaced if they acted up. Instead he half-assed it, bringing in Meireles but retaining Lampard.

Wilshere being sent to Bolton to get away from his bellend mates, but managing to get into punch ups anyway? Honestly, the list just goes on and on.
Nasri acted like a twat on the transfer season, not while he was playing for us. Not much you can do with players who leave for greener grass.
