QPR`s defence is starting to look formidable:

    Bosingwa Carvalho Dawson Fabio

The Portugese pairing especially as they have history at Chelsea and for National team.

£10m - way too high. Good player - would be good for us but £10m is just plain daft .............

If Jarvis is priced £10m what would Pilks be valued at ?

    formidable???

    bloody hell!

bosingwa is one of the worst right backs in the premier league - right up there with alan hutton for crapness. carvalho is a player i've always liked but judging by comments from others, he has struggled for form recently, dawson is a quality centre half (when fit) in my opinion, and fabio is massively overrated and can't defend for toffee.

don't get me wrong, its better than what they had before, but its not great by any stretch of the imagination.

Saw it in press the other day. Could be inaccurate as I'm
In Spain but Gold was quoted as saying they still owed millions for this

    you watched the guy play?

ask your mates down the kings road...

villa paid £4m for hutton - he wouldn't get in most league one sides. likewise, bosingwa may have a decent background but is an awful defender. decent going forward though.

Djimi traore..say no more regarding Bosingwa. Only got a run out when Ivanovic wasn't available.

someone who is class in my opinion is stephane mbia from marseille, so if qpr sign him THEN they will have made an outstanding signing.

Yes I watched the Champions League Semi final and final. Defended rather well if you ask me. Of course what do I know? He made the Chelsea team for those games purely because he had a 'decent background'....that must have been it.

didn't bosingwa score an absolute peach against you guys last year?

I like him, can also fill in the centre as well. He can't be that bad considering he was part of the back to wall chelski defending against barca in the semi final.
