I saw the Yann vid when we first signed him and thought it was quality, reminded me a bit of Amateur Transplants (if you haven't heard Amateur Transplants give them a listen, very funny stuff). In all seriousness though if any Leicester fan had been at every Charlton game last season you would realise the man is a god, and after the Hartlepool game he came over and was signing autographs for a hell of a lot of fans while his wife and child waited for him, almost everyone else had already gone back down the tunnel. A true gentleman and a quality player <ok>

    'Yann Kermorgant.

    What a ****ing ******.

'He puts his finger to his lips'.

What a ****, I despise people who do that. Clubs who put up with ****e performances all ****ing year while the rest of the side works their ****ing arse off getting into the play-offs then he ruins it for everyone then has the audacity to say 'What did I do wrong'. Then he goes and tells the fans of said team to 'shush'.

    ****ing knob.

What an absolute arrogant, selfish, egoistic bastard.

I hope he gets a career ending injury, the ****.'

As quoted by the Leicester mod, what an idiot

The same guy that then goes on to say that they 'belong' in the premiership. How long has it been, almost over 8 years? Anyway, great result last night, Yann is the man! Quite excited by the arrival of Fuller. This is a guy that Sunderland nearly paid 3 million for almost 18 months ago. Think he will add some flair and chip in with a few important goals

I don't think you appreciate how much of a xxxx that man has been to Leicester.

I've been reading the Stoke forums and they seem to think he still had something to offer them. They speak of how it's a great move for CAFC - it has gotten me even more excited. I'm sure CP can keep him in check.

As for Yann - he's the man!

We do belong in the PL.

Just because we got ****ed over by Milan Mandaric and ****e managers like Craig Levein and Martin Allen.

Pringle - AKCJ's comment was certainly regrettable, however, I don't believe for a minute he means it now in the cold light of day, even if he did at that moment in time last night - We all know football is a passionate game and there's not many with more passion than AKCJ's and my guess is he was so angry at Kermogant's (bang out of order) gesture to the Leicester fans the red mist came over.

It's a shame your only focus is on this one negative moment in what has been a very good exchange of thoughts and light hearted banter between the Charlton & Leicester boards - I really hope you enjoyed the rest of the banter and wish Charlton well for the season <ok>

If you give it you've got to accept it.

Thought there was nowt wrong with Clinton Morrison doing the same to the Covered End. If Llera scores and does it at Hillsborough, I won't have any problem either (assuming Charlton fans sing the aint got a clue song again)

"I hope he gets a career ending injury"

Now that's bang out of order

IA I'm not going to defend that and have indeed made reference to my thoughts on what AKCJ posted last night, maybe you didn't read it - Kermogants actions were in front of circa 1,600 Leicester fans and compounded earlier antagonistic comments - Some of your posters believe that notwithstanding his goal, his performance was not as good as that which you have become used to - They rightly or wrongly believed that he tried too hard which suggests that the occasion hampered his game - After the shush gesture he may find the return fixture a little intimidating - As you say, if you give it, expect to take it

Spot on danger there has been some great banter but what a stupid thing to say even in the heat of the moment.

Leicester fans gave him so much grief before the game there was no way he wasn't going to give it back, he just joined in the banter and had the last word.

Clearly the 'career ending injury' was out of order and was said in the heat of the moment and for that I apologize.

But Kermorgant was bang out of order last night.

I had no problem with him scoring and I actually laughed as I heard our local radio station commentated over the goal.

But when the bloke for held his finger up to his lips and ran towards our fans.... I really despise him for that.

Could you imagine Alan Pardew doing the same to you? Had his team beat you and he ran towards your fans? I could imagine riots in the Valley should it happen.

Good day chaps, I hope for an equally enthralling game at the KP, but hopefully the scores will be reversed <ok>

Once again, apologies for that last sentence, but that's all i'll apologize for. I really hate the man and if it wasn't for Powell and Morrow then i'd probably have taken a real dislike to a club I previously (and still do) have a slight soft spot for.

Well I for one applaud AKCJ's apology - It takes a big man to reflect on his actions, accept in hindsight they were wrong and apologise for them - Simply a regrettable moment of misdirected passion for which an apology certainly covers <applause>

DangerFox, I did read the rest of your post. As you say, Kermorgant will have to expect some more abuse at the King Power.

I stand by what I said. If you give abuse to a player, you have to take it from that same player, and vice versa.

Best of luck for the rest of the season, apart from the obvious.

    Well said AK <ok>

To be honest, if I were the good Doctor, I would consider resting Kermit for the return game (assuming Fuller is fit) after all it is all about gaining league points rather than making them :)
