I was driving home from the game last night and I was wondering who has the furthest journey to get to home matches? I live just north of Hull and my journey is 2 1/2 hours each way, can anyone beat that?

There's a few that come up from London, Bournemouth and other southern areas. Still very decent that you travel that far <ok> Luckily I only live 15 minutes away.

I know a few lads who regularly come from London still with their STs, are you a ST holder?
I have to travel from Leeds (probably around an hour & forty minutes to get to Newcastle, an hour & twenty to get home), but not as regularly as I'd like, should change next season though as I'll be getting my first ST since sixth form.

That's why my last trip took 24 hours to get back.

The connecting plane at Schipol broke down as well so I took the train.

Especially like last night, ended up getting off the bus and just walking before we got near the bridge. I wouldn't be suprised if the bus it still on there.

I parked near the 55 degrees north building and it was fine coming over the Tyne Bridge, then Felling Bypass then onto the a19, only problem was the car park shut at 10!
Had to literally leg it back before it closed!

These Dutch people aren't good for anything are they!

You know you can take a straight flight from Brussels to Newcastle , right? :)

Why dont you park in the life centre multi storey? They've started doing 4 quid parking for matches!

I normally park in Grainger town for matches, but since I was taking my dad's friend and we only had an hour to find a spot before kick off he said about that one.
It was free after 5, so not too fussed in the end!

Well then I might try that next time! Cheers! <cheers>

Although maybe if I quit procrastinating and book ahead of time I might get similar prices!

Haha, love it. Rather the added time and hassel of a connecting flight than shell out an extra €19. Made me laugh!

To be honest , if you do that 10 times , you will save almost 200 euros! Think I'm going to do that next time.

I've done even cheaper though <nahnah> We drove to London , yes drove and took a train from London to Newcastle.
