Don't think there's any chance of being sued, it would cost more to take action against everybody than they'd get in revenue.

I think they just want to be seen doing something rather than actually doing something about the problem. Waste of time.

Well when I say problem, I mean the fact that everyone around the world bar people in Britain, where the match gets ****ing played, can watch every game in the season for cheap.

That's the loss of a day's pay for language unbecoming a mod.

Sadly, there isn't the option to watch one's team week in and week out on normal channels. If I could, I would.

Exactly, we all would. I for one would happily pay a £50 subscription fee to watch all of our away games over the course of the season. Their end message was just plain stupid. We could buy every subscription know to man, we still wouldn't get the games we want to see, which is ourselves. So instead of finding a way to make a bit of cash, they actually pay money to disrupt our enjoyment. Killjoys doesn't cover it.

As Cove and many others have pointed out, its a complete failure anyway!

This will probably never work as too many sites on the web offer streaming for footy games and they would be really busy trying to close these streams down when 100 or so pop up within a few minutes. The well know sites such as Sopcast, Firstrow, etc will be targeted pretty often as they are the busiest stream sites but the less known sites won't be affected for the time being as they are less busier and not that well known.

To make things funnier, Rojadirecta.com got taken down by the Feds in feb 2011 because the website hosted links to the SuperBowl. The same evening they launched a proxy site and a week later they had a new website with rojadirecta.me, after that, the feds couldn't **** anymore and I hapily watched the Superbowl last februari on both the BBC and a live stream from rojadirecta <laugh>
