SSN £5.5M bid for Dawson

    Sky is the only source quoting 9'5 million. The local newspaper quote 3.5, which will be a lot closer to the actual signing on fee, then with all the add ons and wages it will be worth 5-6.

    Which is about right for a quality player with international experience. He's far better than bassong. You don't see to may spuds moaning about him leaving, but most are gutted to be losing Dawson.

    Great deal if Dawson has recovered fully from his injury, which is why players have medicals.

    Great bit of business if it is more like 5 or 6 million. Encouraging to see the Spurs fans are gutted he is going. Hope injury worries are all behind him, and after all we've never had any problem before after signing players known for being a little bit injury prone...well...nearly never. :eek:

    He will add a bit of steel to our paper thin defence. Can he work alongside Clint Hill though? Most Spuds fans have got the right hump!!

    May as well have signed Stevie Wonder. On the other hand, he sports quite a girth these days, so could be a good shot stopper.
