Occording to the front page of the sun tomorrow, Andre Santos has been arrested by police for doing 130MPH in his Maserati. please log in to view this image I hope it's a hoax. It's not on their website.

It's on their website now. Not a hoax unfortunately. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4498881/Premiership-Arsenal-star-Andre-Santos-arrested-after-alleged-130mph-cop-chase-and-possibly-facing-jail.html I don't know whether to or If he goes to jail (which he shouldn't do, he'll most likely just face a driving ban), we should consider bringing in a new LB. EDIT: SJW just beat me to the punch.
FFS. Nothing can ever run smoothly for us. Time for him to go, unlike certain other London club, I wouldn't want us to keep unsavory players at our club.
He's famous, no way will he go to jail. Think about how many driving offences George Michael racked up, it took about 15 for him to finally do some time. This is Santos; 1st offence i believe.
Why is it sad? In this case it's excellent, the last thing we need is a player going to prison, can you see the board buying a replacement?
I'm happy he's not going to prison, but the double standards, if it was the average Joe he'd go to jail, piss me off
IF it's a first offence and he pleads guilty, then he's likely to get away with a fine, a ban and possibly a suspended prison sentence. But failing to stop for the police (if that actually did happen-I don't trust the Sun at all) is very serious. Either way, I can't imagine what the hell he's playing at! Thank God he didn't have an accident though. Then he'd really be up the creek...
Just for breaking the speed limit, it's not a criminal offense, therefore no jail. If other things are true then possibly, but highly unlikely. Speeding is a traffic offense not a criminal offense.
