Positive from today (for Leicester) -Huddersfield scored a last minute penalty to draw with Forest, Kamara said it was Rhodes first touch despite starting. That's how much Forest dominated Better?
Its early days. We are playing a 19 year old right back at centre half. Once Whitbread and St. Ledger return we will be alot more solid at the back. At away days though you need people who are going to work for the ball and the team and we all know that is not one of Beckford's strengths. At away games we will be much better with people like Nugent, Vardy and even Waghorn starting and using Beckford as an impact sub.
I'll take that If Leeds lose that should cheer us all up, 1-0 until 2 goals in 5 minutes. Then if City win at Blackburn tomorrow everybody's happy! (except Blackburn)
At least we can score. Is Vardy another hume though? He is exicting, but is not really scoring. Why do people persist to stand up for Beckford saying he is our most natural finisher? Maybe at leeds but not since, he has been awful and the last i back 1-on-1. Where is Neil Danns?
Away victories are looking in a rarity in this league. Ignoring Hull and Blackburn, only six from 22 teams are undeafted, and only Blackpool have maximum points. From a Leicester point of view, we need to get St Ledger and Whitbread fit ASAP, because we're too light at the back. A good defensive performance in the first half and we'd have won it in the second. King and Nugent should start next match, and probably bring Knockaert in for Dyer.
Never been a good ground for us. Sounds like we were lucky it was only 2 at half time. So many chances to equalise and not one taken. Well done Charlton - too many of our lot went missing first half. Walsh would have chinned Kermo and got himself sent off. Was an exciting game in the end but Kermo and Wright-Phillips destroyed us first half. Looking forward to seeing ZW at centre half - see if he is as good as the Norwich fans have said
Or from a Leicester perspective, we won't care either way. But good to see you guys on our board again...
We need to get in a centre half on loan. As good as Liam has been he isnt the short term answer. Maybe putting him at right back and Ritchie De Laet at centre half could be.
Seasons only just started .. New signings at ALL clubs need time to settle in . Plenty of time yet . Give your teams 10 games then look at the table to get a good idea how things will work out ..
feel free to read the rest of the thread, you'll see i'm not on the wind-up. It's just a bit of playful banter, you're the first to reply sourly. The comment you highlighted was sarcastic (though difficult to spot in text i thought it was obvious)
On loan, permanent - I don't care what the circumstances are, we need more cover at the back. I'm a bit worried about the fullback cover too. De Laet didn't sound great tonight. Tom Kennedy is the only other option at the moment.
I was being honest not sour mate - I'm not going to sugar-coat things for fans of other clubs. If I was being "sour", I would have said I'll be looking for a Blackburn win. But I don't care either way. If/when you lose tomorrow, you won't find me on your board, being nice or otherwise, because you lot or of no interest to me.
Got some family who support Charlton, he went to the game and said it was a great match. Apparently Leicester had so many chances but they all went begging. Charlton were solid and gave some strong Leicester opposition a good game. Charlton are ones to watch IMO. Both Leicester and Charlton will be up there this Season.
