Oh I don`t know. A wealthy young man who to all intents and purposes is now getting a monthly pension check, without having to do anything strenuous. Even we could sit on a bench for a couple of hours a week Dai, could`nt we!

I agree, it's a bit weird this one. If it was me I think I would actually like to be playing football. I don't see him getting much game time at Man City. We would all be able to retire on even what Swansea pay for a few years. Why doesn't he give Brendan a call to see if he can go to Liverpool. More money, and by the looks of Downing, he would be in the starting 11 every time. In fact, why doesn't Huw give them a call and up the fee a bit more. Scott is going anyway, so lets squeeze the Pool for what we can get.

They should just set up a standing order straight to us <laugh>

It seems like city are buying young english talent for the future, he's obviously got no place in their starting 11 now, but if he's got any ambition he's got to believe he's got a chance. Poor sod will probably get loaned out to Grimsby or somewhere though

Saw that some footie commentators from the Beeb were saying on their Twitter feeds they think he's mad after what's happened to Johnson. They're right of course. Bye bye first team football. Oh well we'll just have to count the dosh.

There are 2 reasons this is happening

    1. Adam Johnson (who in my opinion is far better than Sinclair) wants away from Man City as he isnt playing and
    2. Man City need to up their quota for British based players when he leaves.

Not a chance of starting for Man City with the players they have there!! As for saying he is one for the future, in the attacking midfield/ winger role they can play Silva 26, Nasri 25 or Aguero 24. Apart from a massive injury list he be lucky to even warm the bench!!

Spot on JackDan. With the English quota being low for them, £6million to up it is bugger all. Can't see him coming on as sub, let alone starting.

But, if he's going, bloody go already. We want Hernandez.

He might go out on loan and get plenty of game time. He may even play for Man City.

This seems very similar to the jack Rodwell will never play from the week before
City need a wide player,Johnson has been very poor in attitude and performance for city,Sinclair will get plenty of game time so long as he performs
He is likely to be utilised at home when we play 3 at the back with Sinclair rotating with Kolorov as a wing back or alternatively as an impact sub.
Fans of other clubs clearly only see the snippets of Adam Johnson from match of the day,I dont know any city fans who are bothered about him going, that is quite telling

Well the commentators on the Beeb don't agree PPLF (not that it means anything) with one tweeting:

".... his prerogative but Johnson seems like a better player and hardly gets a sniff. Thought that would be cautionary tale"

Whatever the case, Sinclair has been great for us - particularly at Championship level - and was instrumental in our promotion so good luck to him.

The one thing I've just realised is that even though we've been told Scott won't sign a new contract - I haven't heard why ? Is he bored with the team/area/money ?
    Anyone ?
