Also tash we are in the group with Everton, Liverpool, Fulham and always have been if I'm honest.

We face competition from every side this season without any doubt we could lose to any of them if we don't play well.

Your getting far too carried away and seem to think we can finish 5th and above through given right after one season I don't get you.

I think it's untrue as it would mean everyone reducing there home pitches to the size of Fulhams and be unfair surley?

 

As I say I could be wrong but I'm almost sure they have changed it this season. I don't know what the size is so couldn't comment if that would mean Fulham increasing or decreasing their pitch.

length minimum 100 yards max 130 yards

width minimum 50 yards max 100 yards


the length must be greater than the width, so you could in theory nearly have a square pitch

 

Stoke's pitch is smaller than ours, it measure's 110yd by 70yd were's as ours is 114yd by 74yds so not all pitches are the same size.

 

They are last seasons rules though.

There is no way they would sanction a rule that said all pitches are to be the same size!!!1 no way.

 

A quick look round after googling and this appears to be the case, all pitch sizes are to be the same this season. However the source from most is Sky Sports News so that immediately places it in the "doubtful" category!

 

Everton fans are ****, they don't often sing that much. Winning at home to Manure and first game of the season, everyone would be loud. The 3 times I've been here, and most of the games on TV I've seen of them, they are quiet as a mouse fart.

 

so the logic is

that the laws have not changed at all then
if there was any change, it would of been changed for all to see


the only place where there seems to be a law in having the same size pitch is mini-soccer

 

It's not my fault you don't grasp what I'm trying to say, I've given plenty of good points to back up my belief that we can finish 4th-6th.

The difference between us an Everton, is Everton have to perform to win games, we don't, and that's the sign of a proper side.

We are fully capable, and as I've said, all we need is another CB and fullback and we'll be In a very promising position. Another striker in the Jan window wouldn't go a miss.

Fulham looked Impressive vs Norwich, but I dont think they'll finish in the top 6, or near it tbh.

Won't affect Fulham but surprising nonetheless. That breadth will have Mr Pulis seething.

Is this supposed to be a WUM effort, because all the other posts you've made on this thread seem reasonable, but this is once again directed at Tash for no obvious reason? I mean, why is it your responsibility to make sure Tash doesn't get "carried away"? Remember, his slight confidence is +/- 1 place of last year, and you've come up with beggar all reasons for being "realistic". Think you should just leave it to be honest, as everyone knows what you think on the matter, so no point starting the same "debate" over and over.

Also, on the pitch thing, does everyone realise our pitch actually has a massive hump in the middle (and I'm not talking about Pardew potentially getting carried away at the end of season party)?

It's not the case otherwise st james parks pitch would have been half the size on Sat and it wasn't

 

Is that not because yards and metres is different... Don't see how our pitch would have changed that much to fit the regulations, because from what I remember we had pretty much the standard size that most had. Could be wrong.
