wtf? I'm saying he can't take things into his own hands like Rooney from the back... At Arsenal he played the lone striker role all season if you can remember.

I agree with HIAG. The sooner Fergie realises RVP is supremely better than Rooney the better. I'm not sure they are both at their best when on the pitch with each other

With a midfield like that? RvP isn't as mobile as Rooney, he needs people to get the ball to him. So either Rooney and RvP both play, or they need a better creative CM basically.

  8. Oh, I remember well enough. He played lone striker, lone midfielder, lone defender, and lone goalie.

    That's what I remember.

Occasionally, Walnut came on and ran around like a headless chicken, but that was mainly to distract the opposition and also to provide some entertainment for the ball-boys.

Ferguson 7 hours ago quote" He just humped the ball forward." Is Ferguson turning into a moaner after a defeat, that's a sure sign of pressure? Bad loser so he's looking for excuses as AVB did with his "QPR's ground is too small" moan.

It actually looked like the ref was going to let it go well into the fifth minute. You could almost see the ref contemplating it in his head.

We also have Chelsea, man city and Liverpool in September...

I expect stoke to open up more than Sunderland though, on their own ground.

Stoke's a bread and butter team that can give anybody problems at home especially a not free scoring Arsenal. You v Liverpool could be a battle between 19th and 20th,that WOULD be fun and Chelsea failed to score in open play after 2 minutes at Wigan. 88 minutes without a goal suggests scoring problems to me.

I think Everton are our rivals not Utd, so it was a bad result for us. I think we will be closer in points to Everton than Utd come the end of the season.

I've never seen him accept defeat graciously, he always has a ref, player or other team's tactics to blame or have a dig at. Everton lumping the ball forward(if they did do that, I didn't watch it) had nothing to do with United's inability to score.
