I wouldn't say no to Rose. But bloody hell Jenas!!! People were worried about Saha's injury record. " "Jenas has been told he does not feature in new Spurs manager, Andre Villas Boas’ plans, and has not played first-team football since injuring his ankle while on loan at Aston Villa last November." I would rather Gardner was in the position that Jenas would play.
Not sure about either to be honest! Not seen much of rose (was he in gb squad?) and jenas is another player to add to wes, Saha, jos who will keep physio busy?! What's happened to Johnson, guidetti, fletcher and berbatov??? No Olson either we are to assume?
Jenas to me was always a flash in the pan player. One game looks world class next he looked like a novice. My main worry with him would be is he actually fit! I like Rose he is fast and from what I have seen more than capable of handling LB. I think he would work well with McClean and wouldn't be giving him the hospital balls Ricco does, plus Mc wouldn't be exhausting himself the whole game covering LB. Also with his speed he is capable of overlapping with Mc which should take some of the pressure off young lad.
I don't think either of them are bad players mate, I think Rose has a lot of potential, I just think they are both a million miles from what we need. We need a PROPER left back, not another 'can play' left back. Jenas? Why?
The thing is mate good LB's are like hens teeth, we know more than others how rare they are. From what I have seen of Rose he looks quite capable of doing a job there. Plus he is 10 times better than anything else we have for LB. Got to agree about Jenas, he is a player we don't need and what we have is better.
Problem I have mate is that Olsson is there, he's keen to come, he'd cost little, he's a full Sweden international, and he's a proper left back. Lets not continue hoying people anywhere, lets get it right for once.
