Here is a strange one from the Sky's rumour board: andy reid has been spotted at the watford training ground -157 Definite. Never
There's a rumour on Twitter that we have signed Marco Cassetti - 35yo Italian defender, formerly of Roma. And what's more, it's not a loan!
Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Cassetti and scroll down, an interesting addition considering.
Hope not. We don't need a right back, and he's less experienced at centre back than Nosworthy, Taylor, Hall or Doyley.
I hear he is no longer needed by Roma as they have signed a younger and more reliable player in Compactdisci
I don't believe that. Compactdisci is past it. They have a youngster called Itunesci who they say will redefine right backs.
That's life I suppose - didn't Cassetti himself replace Recordo whose game had become a bit scratchy?
Before the laws of the game were formalised they had the great Castrati, who had the support of the Vatican for his off-the-ball awareness.
Mean while back to the rumours! 20 Aug 2012 18:15:55 Unbelievable but true Brazilian starlet Neuton - recently acquired by the Pozzo family for Udinese to be sent to Watford for a year. Neuton only 19 and previously with Gremio is a left sided defender and seen in Brazil alongside Neymar and Oscar as world class stars of the future Can't stop pinching myself - just amazing - have a look at him on youtube - the yellow shirts of Watford really are just like watching Brazil. He will arrive late this week and won't be match ready till after the international break -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Might be a good one for the future. But for now ....Work permit will be a problem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuton
Ah yes - he formed a never-to-be-forgotten partnership with South Korea's greatest ever player - Yoo Nuk. The opposition just couldn't get the ball off them.

Yes, but he has the experience of 5 caps for Italy, three cup winners medals and a host of other medals... probably one or two more than 'our boys' to hazard a guess so it's a bit churlish to be turning our noses up at a player that, though not a household name, has some serious experience, won trophies and probably still has a point to prove. Let's face it, Pozzo's or not, he is not coming here for the money is he? If he's coming at all of course Now, has anyone got a sense of humour pill I am probably in dire need of????
Josh McEachran has gone on loan to Middlesbrough so that is one rumour that will not be coming to us.
I'm sure there was a Public Enquiry led by Justice Thomas who found it all to be a load of balls and lacking substance.
Watford set to sign Udinese defender Gabriele Angella according to reports 3:04pm Tuesday 21st August 2012 in Watford FC News Watford are close to announcing the signing of Udinese defender Gabriele Angella, it has been reported. Gazzetta dello Sport reported Udinese have accepted an offer from Watford and that the player has agreed to the move. It is unclear whether the switch will be a loan deal or a transfer, although the Italian publication says a contract has been agreed. Angella signed for Udinese from Empoli in 2010 and made a few appearances during his first year but spent last season on loan at Siena and then Reggina. The 23-year-old, who is reportedly 6ft 3, primarily plays at centre half.
