Because your rather pathetic counterpoint falls apart again?

    That's what I said.

Dear Sir or Madam, I think it appropriate to draw the following fact to your attention. When Maribor FC of Slovenia played Rangers on Thursday last the Scottish club fielded an ineligible player.

The US citizen Bocanegra was signed just before the match, but he does not have the necessary visa to play for the club in the UK. This should have rendered him ineligible for the match but he was included in the side anyway by the Rangers’ management team, and played in the game.

Despite being a proud citizen of Scotland I am also an upholder of the Corinthian spirit, and a fierce defender of the rules of fair play. As such I feel strongly that this flagrant breach of UEFA rules should be brought to the attention of the Maribor club and to UEFA. This should certainly result in the tie being awarded to the Slovenians.”

    Peter Lawell

It is reported that said copies of the document, found their way into the hands of officials at Maribor before UEFA received the complaint, which was then dismissed as it was outwith 24 hours of Maribor’s 2-1 first leg victory.

A The Rangers club source stated: “We are aware of evidence that demonstrates the absurdity of this complaint. It is a pathetic attempt at mischief-making and Maribor would have been better served trying to establish the facts first before making a complaint to UEFA.”

No you did'nt, you realised your response had more holes in it than a tramp's vest so you decided to go all defensive and testy as usual.

You do realise I was joking and that Peter Lawell never sent that letter, a solitary letter which according to you was Celtic fans "Bombarding" UEFA.
