Had we not conceeded then it would not have been a defeat plym so it is a fact. It was poor defending as well so again he isn't wrong there. What he neglects to say apart from the usual "they worked their socks off" is that the attacking was sadly lacking in any sparkle so we would not have won as you rightly point out.
More comments that Fletcher is considering shuffling his defence.........sort out your attacking options Carl......scoring goals takes the pressure off the defence......they can't defend always for a 0-0 result. Then find some attacking mid-fielders to get away from hoofball to the deadly Chadwick,or should deadly be dead Chadwick. Remember Fletcher you promised us that we would be winning ugly this season. From the highlights poor defending is giving the defence way more credit then they deserved for the first goal, poor doesnt come close to describing it. Penalty very, very soft IMHO more often than not it wouldnt be given. Think we need to check the strikers are actually wearing the boots and not the boxes they came in. Still when the Welsh wizard is fit there will be no stopping us. Couple of pints of Brains SA and a rubdown with a damp sheep and he will be banging them in a week or 2.
