    It wouldn't be part of a deal to get a QPR player because if we have cancelled his contract, he isn't a Newcastle player anymore so QPR could just say no to any swap deal.

    Not been reported by any other ources, find that one a bit strange.

    Unless QPR have agreed to pay Routledge a fee to pay us a so he could sign permanatly for them, did we not do something similar with Guitierez?

    Yeah and then we had to pay somewhere between £5-8 million in compensation about 6 months later.
