Before Harding Chelsea couldn't afford the left foot of some of the players you were buying, same with City pre-Shinawatra. All City and Chelsea have done is what you did over a shorter period of time.
That's not true. United, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton and Liverpool + the media/ FA have been the downfall of a competitive PL. You and United were the main instigators of the PL due to your own greed. Effectively it backfired and other clubs like Chelsea, City, Fulham, QPR, Wolves to name a few took advantage of the fruits the PL had to offer. You can't expect to gain such a significant advantage whilst everybody else just stands back and watches. The fact is were it not for the FA bending over to yours and Sky's demands Abramovich and Mansour would not be here and you would not be crying
