Our 5-0 demolition at qpr was out of this world and our best start to a season for years but lets not get carried away....YET....Bolton beat qpr 4-0 first game last season and look what happened to them......so we should all enjoy the moment but lets keep our feet on the ground and not get carried away.....One game dont make a season as bolton found out...
Totally agree, Dai. It's only one game (what a game though!!!!) but it is essential that we underpin the win by beating West Ham. If we drop any points to them, it will take the gloss off a well won three points at QPR. They are a team we should be expected to beat, so let's go and do it. Six points from two games would keep us near if not actually top of the league and keep the momentum going - not to mention the massive boost of confidence it will give us.
I said before the qpr game that i had a good feeling that law of averages will play a part at some point but i was not expecting we would score 5 goals.. Qpr played pretty good in the first half but a few errors (that we normally do) let us in and the second half they actually lost all their shape as they were chasing the ball and making huge gaps that we exploited tremendously accurate....I dont think qpr will do that again and i put it down to first game nerves expecting to win at home, the pressure was off us but will be on us against west ham at our first game at the liberty. this is the game we must win to make the qpr game count...If we can score 2 or more goals and put in a commanding performance then it will give everyone confidence that we will be a force to be reckon with this season....my gut feeling is that this team will be the best team any of us will have seen in a swansea shirt....
