    Saw what money?

Reckon if he wanted to stay or was interested he could of got the same off you guys. City would of paid more than us aswell. So how did he see the money and run?

I dont doubt hes on higher wages here than he was at Arsenal but had he stayed I doubt he would of taken a paycut at Arsenal.

he he ... tbh don't know why arsenal talking alot about the betrayal of RVP .. if joining a better club who offer more both in football and money levels is a crime, then 99% of your players had betrayed their original clubs who spend alot developing their skills .. that is football .. beside you need to ask yourself what the boards did too? 130k is the last figure they offered him, they even didn't try to improve their offer since months and bought a replacement instead of negotiating with him trying to win him over

have to wonder what would had been your reaction if he joined Spurs or chelsea?

If it was Rooney doing the same, sure will wish him bad luck if he joined a rival like city or Liverpool bcz it shows a lack of respect to the club .. but if he joined Chelsea .. fair enough if they offered better contract and had more chance to win trophies.. and if he joined arsenal is even better bcz at least you play better football and not a fake club like City or Chelsea

He's now earning more than double what he was earning with us. Citeh weren't willing to meet his demands. He was only in it for the money.

Thats bollocks from City so dont believe a word. He told them to **** off and take their project bollocks with them. They have been trying to tap him up for ages so to think they suddenly decided he shouldnt get paid as much as Adebyor ( sp? ) who is on £220k a week ( in his own words <ok> ) is quite frankly bollocks,

RVP told city where to go, to suggest they wouldnt meet his demands when they pay players who are not as good as an injured RVP is the funniest thing I have read all day....

I actually read City didnt even make a bid....

funny.......seeing as Mancini constantly harped on about it and how he wanted RVP and how its down to the clubs to sort a deal etc etc...

Its also weird how a few months ago United were skint but now we are ruining football with out ridiculous spending...

make your ****ing minds up people, are we skint or are we ruining football spending loadsa money ( it wasnt loads to be fair, compared to some fees recently )

It's weird, a bit like stalking an ex girlfriend but I am quite interested to see him play in a different set up with different players.

With players like Nani, Valencia, Rooney and Kagawa supplying the chances theres little chance he will flop.

Theres about 100s of chances a season going to be created and RVP is a guy who knows where the goal is better than he knows himself <ok>

hardly skint when you have raised £150 million on the New York stock exchange, admittedly the half goign to the club as opposed to the Glazers has now been wiped out as it has been estimated that by the time fees, wages etc have been taken into account it is a £70 million deal.

Through gritted teeth, if he stays as injury free as he did last year, RVP will score 50 this season.

Meh.... we had £70million already lying around just wanting to be spent...........

That means we have £75million left...... just enough for us to sign Kaka on loan and Dembele I suspect <ok> <laugh> not really
Oh and some guy called Hector, a mexican midfielder. Has MASSIVE ears.

RvP will not score 50, ever. Those numbers are reserved for the Messi's and Ronaldo's of this world.

Hah! We're offering a reward to whoever breaks his leg. Ryan Shawcross and Charlie Adam are already showing an interest.

It would be funny if a recurring injury flares up (2) and he misses most of the season. 24 million will have been frittered away for nothing.

Agreed. Also, I suspect that Rooney will takes the pens, so RVP will not get those cheap goals.

I don't wish him bad but I certainly don't hope he has a good game. Infact I really don't care for RVP too much. He is an ex player after all. The only ex player I followed after he left us was Thierry Henry.

Classic case of mixed feelings. I'd love for him to miss a sitter or five, on the one hand, and love for him to score a hat trick, on the other...
