I'm not sure the value of any transfer is solely down to football ability for Ki. Do Celtic not get a decent wad of cash from TV rights/shirt sales in South Korea as well? If that's the case then it's likely that any fee would take that revenue into account.

you cant blame the boy for wanting to play for a big club.

he is probably also uncomfortable playing for a racist club as well.

As has been said, anything over £6m is a great sale for us. Does mean losing out on some merchandising money, but I'm sure if it was really worth that much in the 1st place, we would be signing half the korean/japanese national team's players up every year.

As for big Dave Ki himself, I would have thought moving abroad would be better for him than down south. He always seemed to lack the strength and pace for up here, but has all the technical ability to be a success elsewhere.

Fee agreed with Swansea. Supposed to be slightly more than £5m. Deal to be completed within 24 hours.

All this according to the bloke from STV.

Sounds like he wants to go, can hardly force him to hang around. Decent profit and give us more room for giving the youths games.

BBC saying around £6m for the player.

    Rangers - £5.5m.

If it's £6m (as predicted by me earlier in this thread) then that is a fantastic bit of business.

Now go out and buy any two from 3 of the following: John Daly, MacKay-Steven, Johnny Russell.

Well it looks as if he's coming to the swans, do you think he'll fit in to our style of play ? We don't really play route one, but that may change depending on who we play.

no in all seriousness valley - he is a tidy passer of the ball with a good strike that would suit a prem league team

the game is a bit too physical up here for him

What makes you think we play Route 1 and that ki is a route 1 player?

No idea mate I have only seen Celtic play once against us last year, it's just a question on whether you think he will fit in, nothing wrong with asking is there ?
