To us old Spurs fans things have changed for the worse. So many pot hunters around these days including Modric,Uncle Percy to mention two! Good to see some "bottom" teams doing well, like Fulham and WBA. By the way, what's the chances of Spurs getting 6 points from the next 3 games?I'm crossing my fingers,my legs.........and my car tyres!
TBH, i'm not suprised at all about this. Peter Hill-Wood and Ivan Gazidis have demonstrated on numerous occasions that they shouldn't be allowed to see to the day to day running of a football club.
Neither club earned their wealth, Lidls. City have been given it and heavily criticised for it, whereas United got into a dubious deal with Sky, were promoted to the hilt and escaped without a scratch, for some reason. Hopefully the Glazers will continue to plunder your coffers for the foreseeable future.
Last night Adebayer was having one of his twitter aguments with a number of gooner fans. One asked him 'why did you leave us like you did'. He replied 'how did you want me to leave you'. The goon said 'we just wanted the truth, we never got that'. Adebayor told the goon that he was called into the office when he returned from holiday and told to look for a new club as "he was no longer in their future plans". It looks like the goons have a policy of cashing in on there best players. They didn't put up much of a fight to keep Alex Song did they?
Adebayor said exactly the same thing about City too, Deedub. Strange. Very funny quote, though. "How did you want me to leave you?", like it's inevitable that they're all going to sod off! From what I heard about Song, he was pulling a bit of a Modric. Disinterested, demanding a move and kicking up a fuss.
Well, with any luck they can kick lumps out of each other in another "derby" in a few weeks. Good riddance to both. Does this sort of player behaviour happen in Spain and Germany? You never hear of it.
Then the goons did the right thing with Song, ship him out quickly. We should have been punting Modric around after last year's transfer window fiasco. We should have been ready to sell him as soon as last season finished, Champions League or not.
its being reported now that the deal is done but isn't being announced while we tie up other business. If that is true we don't know how long this deal has been tied up for when all we've got to go on is bullshit from the press.
I think it is great justice for all the mocking they dished out when ****ball left us to join them....now their captain has shafted them, their words not mine, and they are up in arms! Plus they were so busy laughing at the current Modric saga that they forgot to shut the door when RVP left that their second best player,Song, sneaked out aswell
I struggle to see their problem, they got the best deal by a mile. OK their pride must be a little hurt but £24 M for a 29 year old is a superb deal. I'd be far more worried losing Song than RVP.
After tonght, i think Fergie should focus on tactics rather than wumming. We were crap, yet we're ahead of them(and you) in the league.
