normally 1st away game of the season less then 2 hours down the road, after a win id be hoping for an army of 2k +....after saturdays attendance tho, you could be nearer..
Im going too (+1). The attendance could be decent for us. The tickets are cheap, it's a couple of hours down the road and for those that use it, it was one of the cheaper Tiger Travels of the season too. Plus it's our first away game, we've just won the home game and they went on general sale today. It could be a decent turn out.
cant remember off hand, last 2 years have been **** away trips 1st game, ipswich and millwall... in the past weve taken a lot if its been close by..
The Tickler mobile shall be full. (4 plus me) Still have memories of that PL away debut when we took over 6000 to Eward Park. Great day out. Thankfully the pub nonsense across the road from the ground makes it all the more easier to wait for the KFC on the way home.
I remember we took 1,000 to the opener at Millwall, wasn't Ipswich about the same? We should be taking 2,000 to a game at Blackburn, but as it's a night match and the attendance was so low on Saturday, I wouldn't be surprised if it's nearer 1,000.
Says in the Guardian this morning that their season ticket sales are down from 15,000 to 7,000 and corporate clients from 250 to 8............. Frightening what dropping down from the PL means.
How did you find out you can pay on the gate? i'll be paying on the gate too (if i can) but the club hasn't said anything yet
All i can see is that they're on general sale from the ticket office either in person or through the phone..nothing about pay on the gate
Blind/partially sighted supporters are asked to bring a small radio with them and tune into commentary on Radio Rovers. Braille readers can order an abridged version of the Matchday Programme in advance by contacting Blackburn Rovers’ Accessibility Officer on 07717 724646. - The upgrading of tickets can only be done on the day of the game from the Visiting Supporters Ticket Office which is based at the Darwen End of the stadium. - Supporters will be able to pay on the day of the game at Ewood Park, but we do advise you to buy in advance. - Tickets can be collected at Ewood Park on the day of the game. Identification will be required. doesnt say turnstyle specifically, may have to get them from an office next door, but wouldnt have thought that was enough to stop anybody going..
Last season against Leicester and Forest(Derby wasn't far off). The other big away followings were all more local, Leeds, Donny and Boro(Boro and Donny were bigger than Leeds, due to it being a night game).
Anyone know if i'll have to go to the ticket office or are the available from turnstyles? And our away followings have been pretty hit and miss, we did take near 700 to Southampton on a tuesday night
Just phoned the ticket office and there shouldn,t be a problem paying on the gate !!! Soooooooo thats me in
