Apparently so. Hasn't trained in the off-season and no clubs had previously gone in for him. Wages were always a question with him but if he's had no other offers he can't be picky. Not our first choice and god knows how long it'll take him to reach full fitness but if at the end of today we have him posing with Davies and Campbell in the Atyeo...
Would be our best CB which is the sad thing, but sign him up. Would like to know how much Davies cost must of been around the million pound mark. Hope we can bring in dj Campbell and buzsaky as well. Or is this asking to much??
For **** sake McInnes sign him up! We need a defender, and in our own training camp we have a guy with experience in Portugal, Russia, the Premier League and has played with us and Burnley in the Championship! Not only that, but he's got his best years ahead of him. On top of that, he did well for us last season and seemed popular with the fans, despite his reputation for being a ****. Sign him and some of the other players mentioned and I can't see us going down.
Sorry, Amo not for me, we need better than a short term fix, did a job last term but not one for the future, rather have james wilson in there.
James Wilson is largely untried in the Championship. Yes, he MAY make the grade, and yes he MAY be really good, but we dont want to get relegated while he learns his trade Fact is with Fontaine or Nyatangle alongside, its too big a risk giving the rookie a run in the team
I just think we've got a terrific manager and if Amougo is his decision,that's good enough for me.....
it'll also give wilson someone with experience of many leagues and team to look up to aswell as louis
