Read the title as Paddy's shagging a toff.

Thought one of his parties had gone astray after him and an Etonian called Tarquin had hit the Coke....

    Come down indeed! ;)

Ive said all along HH shouldnt have been sold. Hughes said he will bring players in before selling them off so we might not see another target man and we are in big trouble if we dont get one.

Swords, you have got me thinking about this sad Kenny saga. I still now hate the bloke, purely because he has slagged off our club and fans BUT should I really expect any loyalty from what is in essence, a past employee ?
Why should he be any more loyal to us than i am to my past employers ( I worked in a high street bank before and I've never had a good word to say about them since I left).
It's very hard for us to take of our 'supporters' hat and simply look at it from an outside point of view of a disgruntled ex-employee who (maybe foolishly) feels its his way of childishly getting back at his former employer.

Saying that, I still hope be let's in six goals per game and gets sacked by Christmas, but I guess I'm a fan :)

Leeds with Sir Colin W Ledend at the helm have suddenly become my favourite Championship team. I always hated them until Colin joined - Good luck to them! They had a great start, and lovely to see one of the most unpleasant characters in football (Wolves new manager) have a losing start.

It's a fair point, we don't know the circumstances around his leaving and it might still hurt the guy.

All the same, keepers in particular have time to engage the fans in banter at the game so surely he must have some respect for the club as a whole if not the management? Well apparenty not and, as said above, he's tarnished our lasting memories of him.

In the past, a lot disagreed with this point but I still hold it to be true: When you're not from the area (or even the Country!) you have a different perspective on things. A more detached view so to speak. You still love the Club but the players you couldn't really care less about.

I do believe that guys born and bred in London and especially near HQ itself have a closer bond with the Club and see the players as an extension of the Club. I guess you could say its in their blood. The Chelsea thing for example is something that I'll just never get - try as I might.

So when ex players come out and slag the Club, it registers with me not a jot. What it does bring up however is an annoying confusion as to why guys would like them in the first place, when they were with us? I know it must come across as cold and I understand that's a large reason why a lot of people don't like my posts. I think the guys from around the area see the players as part of a kind of family and extend a love and loyalty towards them when they play with us. This is evidenced by the unswerving backing of Akos Buzsaky for years after he lost form. In return, those fans expect that loyalty to be reciprocated and when its not (like Kenny right now), it must feel like a personal attack and a betrayal of sorts.

From my distant perspective however, I have no particular appreciation for the players when they're with us and consequently feel nothing when they say things - good or bad - about us when they're gone.

Is your Username anything to do with a certain Mr Powell?

If so, it just about sums up the average Leeds fan.

I think I understand what you saying Swords. For me it seems quite normal (even though childish) for Kenny to have a go at us now, that we replaced him with that Nervous Wreck MH brought in.

Its not so much that Ozzie (At best his comments are utterly classless), its more that I couldn't give a toss what former players say about us!
